Spider-Man: No Way Home (Extended Cut) | Full Length Reaction

Comments

How dare you make me crack up with a happy joke at aunt may's grave. for shame. that caught me off guard lmao

Jonah Bertorelli

Garfield really shined in this one. He never got a 3rd movie, so I think they need to bring back Emma Stone as Spider-Gwen stumbling into the Garfieldverse. They could fight the Sonyverse Venom.

Joe Blankenship

absolutely loved your reaction to seeing Matt Murdock again

Ronix

@jordan love - sounds like you "mildly" insulted her for liking a show and tried to tell her the movies you liked were superior

hrj665

its cheap to rent online movies like back in the day at family video or blockbuster. not that much of a hassle

hrj665

I love that you were totally team Toby and now Andrew Garfield has taken over. Also I never saw the extended version until now. Thanks!

James M

Agreed, the the Spider-Gwen suit was cute.

Richard Maurer

We need Venom reactions next.

Joe Mallard

This may be an Easter egg, or just a funny coincidence, but it made me laugh when Ned said he wouldn't become a supervillain and try to kill Peter, because that's exactly what happened in the comics. Ned eventually becomes the villain Hobgoblin. a Green Goblin knock-off, although I think they may have retconned that, Marvel comics being the confusing mess that they are these days.

Richard Maurer

Well, the multiverse is a tricky thing, It's possible Strange knew there would be problems and paradoxes but didn't have time to worry about it as their reality was basically coming to an end. It's also possible that Strange compensated for some or even all of the things you mentioned while casting the spell, but didn't want to get into it with Peter considering how badly that went the last time

Richard Maurer

You're not crying VKunia! I'm crying.....wait reverse that. Lol, Loved your reaction and LOVE the Gwen Suit! You're right, it is cute!

Sneaky Poptart

V, I think that's why a lot of people watch reaction videos, because watching someone like you enjoy a movie we love is as close as we can come to enjoying it for the first time all over again.

Richard Maurer

Yeah, that second appearance isn't in the regular cut, I'm glad I watched the extended.

Richard Maurer

I liked the extra info in most cases. It explained a lot of the scenes better.

Richard Maurer

Plus presumably a few of the "villains" die immediately after being sent back.

Flukemarm

Yay!! I'm so glad :)

VKunia

I loved it so much I wish I could go back and watch it for the first time again :') not even kidding

VKunia

Ooooh I see, thank you for pointing me in the right direction and explanation :) it does help a lot so thank you Lorenzo 😊

VKunia

That's what I figured but I didn't wanna say the wrong thing since I wasn't 100% sure!

VKunia

I GOT SO HAPPY WHEN I SAW HIM I HAD NO IDEA HE WAS IN ITTTTT

VKunia

Aw that's so sweet Gary, I still posted the original if it makes it any easier. :)

VKunia

I completely agree, I don't know how he did it but he made it feel like no time has passed at all. He really is THE Green Goblin

VKunia

Yeah, I've always been bothered by this too. I mean it doesn't stop it from being in my top 3 MCU films, but there is so much of the spell stuff that just doesn't add up. Like why would Tobey and Andrew go back unless they also forgot who they were? And wouldn't somebody walk by the display in the high school and say, "hey, look, I don't know who this kid is, but apparently he's Spider-Man, let's tell the papers."

Jordan Love

You might be. I guess there's got to be one. I did meet a woman online who said something along the lines of "no girl could ever enjoy any movie called spider-anything." I like to think i could have changed her mind but she ghosted me when I mildly insulted The Big Bang Theory. But out of the population that have actually SEEN the movie, I think it's just you.

Jordan Love

So judging by the (not very logical) logic of this movie, did Toby and Andrew get sent back to a Universe where everyone forgot who they are? If the solution to "everyone from every universe who knows Peter Parker is Spider-Man is coming" was "make everyone forget who Peter Parker is", doesn't that mean make everyone in every universe forget Peter Parker?

Flukemarm

I hadn't seen the extended cut so this was a nice chance to check that out

minuteforce

great reaction Vee, this movie was so amazing it lived up to the hype, toby and andrew were so good1

That moment when Doc Ock stops hearing the voices of the tentacles. I work with people that hear voices and that moment you witness someone not being tortured by their own mind anymore. Hits me hard, every time. Great delivery. If you pause the break in the universe during the end fight, you can spot dozens of Spider-man Villains from the comics, including Madame Web and possibly even Kraven the Hunter. Important thing to know moving forward. Along with the MCU, there is the SSU (Sony's Spiderman Universe) since Sony still owns the rights to Spiderman.. Sony has plans to make even more for the SSU. Right now, they have the 2 Venom films and Morbius (along with these 3 Spiderman films lined up with the MCU; which they agreed to in order to breathe life back into the Spiderman franchise); both Venom and Morbius got end credit scenes due to the idea of setting up the SSU, not really for the MCU. Current plans for the SSU are films for side/spin-off characters of the Spiderman Comics. Kraven the Hunter is suppose to be this year. Then El Muerto, and Madame Web next year; with the Silk Spider Society, and the untitled Spider-man Noir further down the line. With a piece of the symbyote now in the MCU, well who knows because in the End Credits of Morbius, Vulture (Michael Keaton) from the MCU somehow fell into the Morbius Universe and didn't get sent back when Dr. Strange cast that last spell. Why? Honestly no one can explain it except that Sony...made a decision...lol. It doesn't make any sense but its out there now, so it is what it is, lol. Then we have the animated Into the Spiderverse films, lol. Nothing to do with the SSU, just the Spiderman license working its butt off, lol.

TJ Bigelow

I love your costume! You look so slay! I also loved your reaction! I can tell these characters all mean so much to you and that means a lot to me when I’m watching reactions. You’re a real one.

Timothy Poeschl

You should really watch "What if" (only 9 eps) before the next Dr strange movie. ITs also Chadwick Bosmans last project before he passed away so its worth watching just for that. Its also next in the MCU order anyway I think :)

LightsCameraJake

I love this movie, but I was slightly spoiled about Ned and MJ being written out. The movie theater played a thing before the movie with those two actors talking about this movie being a great exit for their characters.

Kevin Bartelen

You should definitely watch Venom imo, they are fun movies

brae

I thoroughly enojoyed What If, Hawkeye and Moon Knight. What If because it dived deeper into the multiverse, Hawkeye because Hailee is Kate Bishop, and Moon Knight is super interesting as it ties some concepts to the MCU and I think it will be related to "Jon Snow" from Eternals.

FatLittleButterfly

you shouldn't worry about that. Its not that hard to hit pause when the extended scene comes up.

FatLittleButterfly

So yeah for a couple things, you definitely needed to watch Venom to understand the first end credit scene. But yeah that was him, and he left behind a piece of the Symbiote. So that opens the doors for our Peter to have the Symbiote suit. This movie was not good just for the nostalgia but that definitely helped πŸ˜… the movie made me love Tom Hollands Spider-Man so much more. No matter what universe, Spider-Mans fate is to suffer. He's such a tragic character. But this gave me the true Spider-Man vibes, him literally being on his own just fighting crime and trying to make ends meet. Also, MJ may have kind of had a little familiarity, but Peter decided to not make her remember because he saw the cut. Without him, she won't be hurt anymore, so of course to keep her safe, he's leaving her alone. Spider-Man always with the sacrifices and shooting himself in the foot to help people. So for the Multiverse, remember that none of this is possible without the events of Loki. When Sylvie killed He Who Remains, it left the main timeline branching out endlessly into the Multiverse. So we also have Sylvie to thank for this movie and the things to come with the Multiverse lol And wow, I didn't expect the extended edition to have a different end credit scene. But I guess it's for the best. The normal cut of the movie didn't have the high school clips, it had a trailer type thing for the next movie. So its probably good that you didn't see it. So the next movie to come up is Doctor Strange and The Multiverse of Madness. But before that, you should really watch What If. Theres some context that won't make sense without it. You could just hit pause on the MCU if you're backed up with shows but you really should give What If a watch. Plus, you got Hawkeye and Moon Knight to check out as well now.

Lorenzo Baxter

that was tom hardy(as eddie brock) in the after credits scene... if you haven't watched his Venom movies, you need to.... i loved them

Tom Dean

Glad I had Starz, It was worth it just for the reaction to Matt!

Paul M

The trivia that always stuck with me is that in the 2002 movie Dafoe is in the Green Goblin suit for every shot but one stunt shot. Really helps cement him as the Green Goblin.

Flukemarm

the issue is that this version is not available in some places(yet) but is available in most places, I've been able to watch extended cut movies without having it myself so we are all good and is not that longer

Guillermo Antonio Ricci Alvarez

wow that extended editon is kinda trash. A lot of that scenes really deserved being cut from the original release.

Connor Ellis

Well im not sure where you're watching it, but hopefully on Prime Video, as with a sub, you get all of the versions free with a Starz subscription. Just an easy avenue

Lorenzo Baxter

Given that the UK and the USA have different frame rates for tv/movies it makes no real difference to me if you have the extended version and I have the theatrical release. It just means I have to pause things a little longer from time to time so that things sync up properly and I'm OK with that as long as we both enjoy what we are watching

there_is_no_gary_only_zuul

Am I the only one who hated this movie?! No. Because EVERYONE loves this movie. Hot take? I enjoy Spider-Man.

George Baxter

Willem Dafoe is absolutely perfect as the Green Goblin in this. It’s been almost 20 years since he played the character and yet it doesn’t even feel like a day since he last played him. He IS the definitive Green Goblin.

Adam Grunther

You don't have to go out of your way for me. If most people preffer extended editions that's all fair, I can wait for the youtube edit.

Jason Slater

I didn't even know there was an extended cut...

Simon Haynes

I'm sorry :( Previously people always wanted the extended cut for any movie I have done so I just assumed. I can try and get it cut up to remove the extended scenes if it's not too much of a hassle

VKunia

I was just about to comment about how I won't be watching this now.

Brian Leonard

Dang, the extended cut. Myself and a large portion of the fan base have just been cut out of watching along.
