Going in, i wasn't sure how I felt about Paddington and didn't know anything about the story, Paddington himself, or what to expect! Everyone just kept saying "you're going to fall in love with him, he's so wholesome". And you know what? You guys were absolutely right this was such a wholesome, fun, cute movie where you end up falling in love with each of the characters, get pulled straight into the story and you immediately are just rooting for Paddington to finally be happy, and find his home.:')
I really enjoyed this and I didn't think I would, I typically don't prefer movies like this but it just makes you so happy, and its so feel-good you can't help but laugh and smile throughout the entire film.
Paddington has a new fan hehe:)

Paddington 2 is still contending for the greatest film rating on IMDB. I would also argue that Paddington is in a very specific genre of British film that's somehow cynical but heartfelt. Think A Fish Called Wanda or Attack the Block or the Italian Job. Paddington is like our Captain America. His sincerity elevates everything
