Recommendation: Pride & Prejudice (2005). Add it to the next poll?

2023-05-01 22:08:38 +0000 UTCI honestly hope Vee watches both movies instead of dragging this out more than it should. They are both great movies. People will probably be annoyed if she does a even FURTHER poll with just the two movies. Just watch them, this dont need to be rocket science xD

2023-04-14 03:49:36 +0000 UTCQuestion: Since Hacksaw had 22 more votes than Prestige on the second-to-last poll, does that mean Hacksaw wins the tie-breaker? I'm not trying to tip the vote in my favor or anything - just genuinely curious as to the rules on a tie. Thanks.

2023-04-11 22:55:26 +0000 UTCMOVIE RECS: (maybe you've seen them but they aren't on Patreon so) Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) One of Keanu Reeves' first popular movies, still pretty funny, and a must see if you haven't already The Stupids (1996) the title is accurate; strong dad joke vibes, only to be watched for silliness, one of the most outright ridiculous movies ever made Limitless (2011) i think you'll like this a lot -- the concept is basically what if a pill could unlock your maximum possible intelligence potential? They tried to make a TV show of it but the movie is where the gold is Inside Out (2015) omg what a good movie, and right up your alley. A Pixar animated film, superb storytelling; you'll laugh, you'll cry, and we'll laugh and cry along with you Wall-e (2008) another Pixar film, soooo good Groundhog Day (1993) the less spoilers the better, but it's sort of a romantic comedy with Bill Murray that i think you would enjoy The Sixth Sense (1999) I usually can't stand horror movies but i love this one The Others (2001) another horror movie that i actually like Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005) Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, action romance, pretty sure you'd dig it The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson, secret agent action movie i think you'll like And i know you said movies but here's a TV show that only has 6 episodes: Good Omens (2019) originally a wonderful book by two genius authors, one of the authors oversaw the making of the TV show as a labor of love in honor of the other author who had passed away. Strongly comedic in flavor, it is, more or less, about an angel and a demon and maybe the end of the world
