The New Mutants | Full Length Reaction
Added 2022-11-06 19:21:17 +0000 UTCTHE LAST X-MEN MOVIE (FOR NOW)..... X-MEN NEW MUTANTS!!! I gotta say, this was an interesting twist on an X-Men film, taking it as an almost horror-esque aesthetic. I firmly believe someone on the team who came up with this film just watched the Fear Itself episode from Teen Titans (2004) (superior show btw) and was like...... what if we give our main girl this power... but like exactly the same way as the 20 minute Teen Titans episode LOL So I DEFINITELY have some opinions..... cough but its not as bad as Dark Phoenix cough
Anyway it was an interesting twist and I hope you all enjoy as well!!

I definitely don't always love what choices marvel makes with the movies, but I am glad they aren't just trying to take the stories we've all read over the decades and just film them. I like not knowing what sentence comes next, or who faces what challenges as the timeline moves forward.

2022-11-08 02:26:27 +0000 UTCThe casting was pretty good. I'll give it that. I wish just once I could get a movie that's actually based accurately on the source material though. Just once? They do it with classic literature. I guess other than the ending, Watchman is pretty close. Not many others. Certainly nothing in the MCU or DCU.
