But I think they clearly want to see brutality, otherwise e.g. Ninja Warrior would do it too. Probably that was the main attraction for them in the beginning. The only comparison I can think of regarding the brutality is the gladiator fights in ancient Rome, combined with modern elements such as the children's games, so that the direct duel is replaced by more subtle 'tasks', even teamwork. PS The like is for your reaction to the episode and not for the episode itself, since I don't really like the series. π
