๐๐ฎ๐ First Spooktober Movie Poll! ๐๐ฎ๐
Added 2021-10-04 00:03:39 +0000 UTCHAPPY HALLOWEEN๐ (yes this whole month is Halloween) AND MY PERSONAL FAVORITE MONTH OF THE YEARRR (birthday month too hehe ๐โ๐)
Welcome to our first SPOOKTOBER!!!! I am VERY excited to share this with you guys!!
I love horror movies so thanks to you guys, I was able to compile an impressive list of films to include on the first Spooktober poll and want to tell you why this poll is different than our usual ones! ๐๐ฎ
The reason why this poll is so long is because the TOP THREE films (the ones with the highest number of votes) will be chosen rather than just one film being chosen to watch!!
***So we got lots of spooks we're going to be getting through *AND* I would love to hear what you guys think on whether I should also do a rewatch of some classic horror films (the Nightmare on Elm Street films, The Exorcist, The Shining, etc) in addition to the polls. Love me some classics :) ๐๐ค
I'm going to be very active this October so I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Thank you, and I can't wait to share the scares with you all!!! EEEE ๐ฆ๐๐๐ค
GOOD LUCK AND CHOOSE WELL!! ๐ค

I know this is a late message-post but... you folks slept on "V/H/S". Just saying....

2021-10-14 20:30:30 +0000 UTC@Bruce: right
Chris Lรผders
2021-10-08 02:28:09 +0000 UTC@Sean: In my opinion absolutely not! The film is just crap. If you want action and splatter, watch From Dusk Till Dawn, and if you want a more sophisticated film watch Interview with the Vampire or The Fearless Vampire Killers.
Chris Lรผders
2021-10-08 02:27:39 +0000 UTCHopefully not The Lost Boys. The movie is so mediocre (if you are complaisant) ... ๐ง
Chris Lรผders
2021-10-08 02:23:21 +0000 UTCIt HAS to be better than the Perkins-directed 1986 "Psycho III" we got.
Eric Janssen
2021-10-05 05:28:01 +0000 UTC2008 Texas Chainsaw remake Please
Jason Wolfe
2021-10-04 23:57:55 +0000 UTCBut what about "Psycho III: Psychonauts From The Deep" ?
Jonathon Ashcraft
2021-10-04 22:41:58 +0000 UTCWeโll see but I donโt think it would beat the classics in a vote with this audience. Hope it comes back
Kelvin
2021-10-04 08:23:07 +0000 UTCBut the original followed by 1983โs โPsycho IIโ wouldnโt be bad either.
Eric Janssen
2021-10-04 06:50:22 +0000 UTCNope, think its moment has passedโฆ
Eric Janssen
2021-10-04 06:49:15 +0000 UTCMake sure it's Psycho from 1960, the original!
Tyler Gorash
2021-10-04 05:59:10 +0000 UTCI don't expect Tigers are not afraid to have many votes because it is a hiden gem, but at least Ju-on, The Witch and REC deserve more love
Checo Lara
2021-10-04 05:13:41 +0000 UTCLiterally any of the other movies on this list are better than Lost Boys. Anyway you couldn't expect much from this gringos, especially if the majority of those who see Viky's reactions are gringos over 30 years old. A shame
Checo Lara
2021-10-04 05:08:36 +0000 UTCAn impressive list of great titles. Can't wait to see which titles win
Marty Lockstead
2021-10-04 04:11:45 +0000 UTCNot a lot of love for GET OUT???
Matt
2021-10-04 03:57:00 +0000 UTCNot even the best one released that year. "Near Dark" is a far better film.
Bruce Bromley
2021-10-04 03:42:37 +0000 UTCI agree, that would have helped. If it remained a one-off slasher parody I wouldn't be as annoyed with the whole thing.
Richard Maurer
2021-10-04 03:21:59 +0000 UTCThe Lost Boys is still the best Vampire movie ever made
Sean Novack
2021-10-04 03:11:03 +0000 UTCConjuring would be so good
E
2021-10-04 02:53:35 +0000 UTCAwww the Conjuring is good to watch too!
Jayson Phillips
2021-10-04 01:47:37 +0000 UTCi think if they never made a sequel, scream would hold up a lot better than it does now
Christian
2021-10-04 01:36:55 +0000 UTCI always liked M. Nightโs Sixth Sense, Signs, and the Village. Not typical horror movies in that theyโre loaded with emotional depth while also being scary. Signs and The Village being my favorites for sure
Christian
2021-10-04 01:35:00 +0000 UTCAs a long time horror fan, from the old Universal classics right up to today's best, I honestly tell you that the Scream series is the most over-rated thing in horror. The first one was mildly interesting, The rest of the series were money-grab sequels that attempted to be in on the joke that all big horror franchises have money-grab sequels, while in fact they were really just money-grab sequels. I would even watch a (God help me) I Know What You Did Last Summer reaction before Scream 2 This is just my opinion, of course, and you're welcome to your own, but if every copy of every Scream movie fell into a wormhole I wouldn't miss them.
Richard Maurer
2021-10-04 01:05:52 +0000 UTCLost Boys for sure
Erik Greene
2021-10-04 00:56:36 +0000 UTCOh, MOVIE poll. Well, Then The Haunting of Hill House should be on a TV series poll --- AND IT SHOUUULD WINNNN!!!
Dave M.
2021-10-04 00:51:23 +0000 UTCTHE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE ON NETFLIX IS A MUST SEE!!!!! HOW IS THIS NOT ON THE LIST??? Hahaha โค๏ธ ๐ ๐ป ๐ฑ ๐
Dave M.
2021-10-04 00:48:34 +0000 UTCUnless things change drastically, looks like the first and second picks are locked in.
Kelvin
2021-10-04 00:35:24 +0000 UTCEvery time I see a modern jaded horror fan go "Oh, man, this character's a jerk, he is SO going to be killed off...", I wait to see their reaction to Psycho. ๐
Eric Janssen
2021-10-04 00:30:21 +0000 UTCTHIS guy again: "Watch Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum, it's never played a single theater in the US, but you can find it on YouTube if you search for three days, and it might have English subtitles!" And the monthly โWell, I liked it!โ vote for Tony the Tigerโฆ
Eric Janssen
2021-10-04 00:28:40 +0000 UTCWhich Evil Dead? The Sam Rami or the other one?
Nick
