If there is one thing you get out of this barely edited, scuffed as hell ramble, let it be the fact that you can change the trajectory if your life whenever you want. A lot of people, myself included, fall into this trap of thinking that we have to make the best of our given circumstances and although rings true in some cases, it's not universal.
I think oftentimes we fall into this trap of thinking that our lives are not within our control, but they absolutely are. Just because we don't get what we want in the moment, doesn't mean it won't happen in the future. We just have to be patient and do our best.
