Initial concept sketch- I wanted her to be sitting on the heart but I guess that didn't happen. Rest in peace longer skirt too
I didn't save it but I went through a ton of hand redraws
The uhh face went through a dramatic change. Lighting was decided arbitrarily by what felt nicest
She went through a quite a few edits with the colour curve tool. Yellow as a repeating highlight colour is nice .. In retrospect maybe a lighter collar colour would've been better but o well. I did not plan her shoes at all and it shows. The heart was made using the symmetry tool and then changing the lighting by hand
