Let's make a video featuring YOU!

Hope you're having a great start to October. Riley & I have been talking lately about how amazing it is to see the faces behind the names we see on a regular basis. What we also realised is that it's not just great that WE get to meet you, but it's also been surprising how well it's worked for YOU to meet each other.
We all seem to share something special in common, and that is a love for the ocean. Even those people who live miles away from it. So today we wanted to celebrate our community and something we all share in common.
So........ what we wanted to do was create a fun montage video featuring YOU. It's just a bit of fun and if you don't feel comfortable, don't worry, it's completely optional.
What we need is a short cut video of a maximum of 20 seconds, (trust me, you can fit a lot into 20 seconds), it doesn't need to be professional, you could do it with your phone. These are the 3 things we would like you to feature in it:
1) Your first name OR patreon nickname
2) Where you're from (this can be as specific or as vague as you want)
3) In a few sentences, answer ONLY ONE of these two questions:
* what is it about the ocean that fascinates you and how are you connected to it?
* what is your favourite past experience with the ocean?
Please film it in 'landscape' if possible. Landscape is when the image is wider than it is tall.
Once you have the video, send it through to us using a website called: https://wetransfer.com/
It's very straight forward, you just add the file, type our email address in: 'sailinglavagabonde@gmail.com' and press on 'transfer'.
We'll do the rest!
We can't guarantee we will use every video but we'll do our best to try in some way or another. Just make sure you get it to us before the end of the month. If we get any after October 31, they may get missed.
