Added 2022-07-23 13:09:50 +0000 UTCMy family has become curious about my work over the summer. I get the "so what is your art about?" questions. How do you explain to your parents the type of things you've seen me post? As delicately as possible.
"I post comic-like images, wrestling and such." I'm showing them this post (here on Pateron because they're curious about how this works, too) and this will hopefully give a not-too-revealing glimpse at what I do. I'm kind of the black sheep starving artist of the family, while all of my siblings are working professionals so just showing them that I am doing something with my life will make them happy. Come September, I'll be substituting again, hopefully in a vocational school where the kids are typically more well-behaved than in public school.

Yeah, I guess it's not really ideal, but if it comes up again I'll probably be like "so this is what I'm doing." I'm obviously not saying anything erotic is going on. To them it would just be women wrestling (they happen to be in bikinis) and men wrestling, too; I have to fudge it a little. Whatever appeases their questions without going into too much detail.
