My Commitment to You

April has been a tough month so far, due to work and other obligations, and I feel like I've let you all down content-wise. Having lost a few members has also hampered my passion and my focus shifted elsewhere. Not today!

Today, I plan to reclaim my passion and work tirelessly all night to get a lot of things done. Here's what you can expect over the next few days:

1. I plan on finishing the Intermission set between Roxy and Emmy. This is fun, because I'm diving in a little deeper with their personalities and even the odd relationship that seems to have blossomed between them. I started work on the next few pieces, which includes Emmy changing up her hairstyle and a conversation between the pair while they shower; Roxy might even wash Emmy's back for her.

2. An additional chapter of Amateur Basement Wrestling: Three Friends and a Dream (what a title, I literally couldn't think of something better). I felt like this week's chapter was kind of a let down due to its short length. That's how I had written it a few years ago, I guess. I've never gone back to read any of it, yet. I'd love to get back into that and re-work it into a truly nice novella.

3. Back to Roxy and Emmy again, as they move into their third round, which should prove to be the exclamation point on their series. They're going into this round pretty evenly matched. Who will take the victory for their team? I should be able to get their interviews done and possibly move into their bout. I never imagined they'd take 2 months to complete, but here we are.

The biggest thing is, I want to make sure I'm giving you your money's worth. We did lose people and that made me feel like I'm not doing enough, like I'm failing you all. I look at my five members and I wonder why you even subscribe anymore. Then, I think of you and I tell myself I gotta get back in there and get things done for you. I won't fail you, but at times you may need to bear with me. I'm grateful for that. Thank you, all.

No worries. Your work is more than worth the wait. I totally understand how busy we all can get. I look forward to what's to come πŸ˜ŠπŸ’—
