[HS] NewDLCshader explained and discussion

Greetings:

The new DLC for HS contains a couple of good new shaders. I am going to talk about  PBRsp_3mask, PBRsp_3mask_alpha, PBRsp_3mask_uv  respectively.


After installed New DLC you can find those shader from  Illusion\HoneySelect\abdata\mat_cha_15.unity3d.

How to apply new shader to your items:

 I am going to use  PBRsp_3mask_uv as an example to illustrate the method.

Make sure to grab the latest SB3Utility here, before start following my guild.

My 1.6.4 version mirror  for people can't get it from ASF.

ColorMask explanations (Asterisk* indicate not fully tested)

  

Special Effect Note: 

You can change UVScroll RGB value to define the direction and the speed of this special effect. RGB map to XYZ in the game. For example. -0.1 at R value will make it go like my gif image. A value still unknown.


EffectMap can be anything you want. Illusion new DLC use a cloud texture to do magic book effect and magic shield effect. The texture can be found in the same file with the shaders. 



The other 3 colors are a mix of the primary colors. You can use those for a mix of the functions.  For example if you want an area to be secondary colorable and have UV scrolling, you color that area with yellow in Colormask.
