Progress Post #2

In the past few days, SCS released 1.56. This broke my main profile due to a currently unfixable bug, so I have not had good possibilities to expand on the contents of the mod (not much tuning etc has been added). However, work has been done behind the scenes.

Here, I would like to introduce you to (almost) all the cabins that are planned for the mod. Note that only the currently in-game ones have interiors, and that the implementation of the other cabins is still far away. The two cabins missing from this lineup are the standard cabin (83-lowroof) and the daycab of the same generation. These will soon be done, but as I'm hoping to get IRL reference for them, they are not yet completed and thus not featured here.

Here is the full lineup:

And now, some individual showcase of the new ones:

First off, the Eurotrotter. This is a cabin I have had a lot of questions about whether I will build or not, and since I had enough time this week, I decided to do my best and build it. These cabins are exceptionally rare, which makes gathering good reference of them very hard. The cabins I built are based off of a real blueprint, as well as my own images that I have gathered on two different trips. This cabin has been made in two versions: Volume 1 and 2. The difference between them is simple: Volume 2 is a lot shorter, and was used (to my knowledge) exclusively on rigid chassis such as swapbody, being engineered for maximum cargo capacity.

Next up is the "Topsleeper". This was built by Estepe company on the newer daycab base, and is thus the first cabin that won't be from factory. It's also notable that I have not yet built a window for this: That will come soon, don't worry, the cabin will have a window.

And the last cabin is also from Estepe, which I will call "supertrotter". This cabin is essentially a stretched eurotrotter. This is probably the rarest cabin on these trucks that was ever built, not counting homemade ones. Chances of me finding one of these in real life is around zero, so some degree of creative freedom has been taken.

Also, I am aware that the topsleeper had a lot of different versions, I built the one close to the brochure with the red truck. There are chances I build more topsleepers, but not before I build rigids, so it may take a while.

For this I need to have finished the single axle taglift and the gen2, after that, perhaps yes I can
