For me, I couldn't much tell the difference beyond the $500 price point (Some hi-fi cans are priced at +10k). My biggest factor was open/closed back. But it all depends on your intended environment and application. Lots of good discussions on it out there.

2024-06-10 05:08:52 +0000 UTCSennheiser HD660S2. I don't have a perfect ear, but these sound better than anything I've owned. No built in bass boost like Beats,etc. Definitely recommend the open-back design. Makes it sound like what you hear is happening in your room instead of in your head.

I wish Olga did 60 minute massages! A fan in the back ground that slowly blew Olga's clothes off piece by piece would be a nice touch :-)
