This is a constantly in development VRChat avatar base for your bunny, rabbit, and rodent fursona. I'm Crispy. I made this avatar for myself, and I'm constantly adding new features. We have a wonderful community of friendly buns ready to help out and welcome you into the VRChat community. IMPORTANT for VRCFury! Please be sure to use the latest VRCFury build for your projects.

The Rodent Mod is now live in the latest files. I'll be putting out news and information on using it over the next week or so. The mod is free to anyone with the Bunny base. I'm extremely happy with how it turned out!

In this pack, you get:

Blender files
Unity Packages with Bunny and Rat bases
A Substance Painter project with base grey fur (2021 compatible). The Bunny textures work with the rat mod.

Setup:

Create a new project in Unity using Creator Companion
Import VRCFury Script (IMPORTANT! Use the latest version of the script).
Import D4rk Avatar Optimizer: https://github.com/d4rkc0d3r/d4rkAvatarOptimizer/
Import the Bunny Unity Package
Open the Bunny Scene to find the default bunny!

Resources:

Licensing:

Upon purchase of the Bunny Avatar/Model, you are free to do whatever you want with the model, except for:

Claiming the work as your own is strictly prohibited.
Re-selling or sharing the base model is strictly prohibited.
Selling Accessory Materials or Prefabs using the accessories meshes is allowed as long as they are for the Base Crispy Bunny avatar. Please contact me so I can list your assets on the Discord.
If you have paid for the rabbit you can supply the files to an artist to retexture or otherwise modify the rabbit without that artist buying the rabbit as well. However to use the Rabbit in VRChat or other places you must have bought the model (Limited testing by artists is allowed).
I am NOT responsible for any administrative actions taken against you for misuse of the model, or if you break VRChat's TOS.

How to get started:

1. Install the VRChat Creator Companion. You can find it on the VRChat website: https://vrchat.com/home/download
2. The VCC will prompt you to install the correct version of Unity.
3. Make a new avatar project through the VCC and open it.
4. Find VRCFury here and follow the install instructions: https://vrcfury.com/download/
5. Import D4rk Avatar Optimizer from here: https://github.com/d4rkc0d3r/d4rkAvatarOptimizer/
6. Add both of these scripts to your project. In Manage Project, click the + icon for both packages.
7. Download the latest Unity file for the Bunny/Rodent base (found on the Library downloads page of Gumroad).
8. Drag the Unity Bunny/Rodent base file into Unity. Click Import All.
9. Navigate to the scene folder for either the Bunny or the Bunny Mods (Rodent). Open the scene file, and you will find setup avatars that are ready to upload.
