I like it thus far. I really like the premise, though I am far more interested in the story once he gets some land and has to engage with medieval politics than I am with the LitRPG stats and leveling up.

I see both sides of this and it was interesting. I think Dan Schinhophen got a good balance in Dungeon Walkers, and Dave Willmarth did well in Battleborn. Battleborn gets a bit heavy into it at times but tied it more to the story than making it read like someone types up a record of a run.

I despise hard LitRPG. The crunchier the worse. This is my attempt to write an LitRPG, a genuine one, that doesn't rely on stat/chart/table spam.

I think there is a hard line in the fan base with regards to LitRPG.. Those who really like it want all of the stats and numbers you can throw at them, as if they were reading about a D7D campaign from both the player and character perspectives.. I think I fall into the rest where I like the adventure, but tend to just skip over the lists and graphs. I still like the stories, but the more charts there are the more I skip.

Honestly I imagined it being a touch "crunchier" though I am enjoying what it is so far. The pace is also enjoyable but only if it allowed to be very long, which would be nice. Truthfully its still early for me to tell.

It's good so far, but I hope you avoid falling into the tropes for LitRPG. 1. The main character is ridiculously OP and wins every fight. 2. Betrayal of an friend/ally/someone close. This happens so frequently in these type of stories that I am always overly suspicious of every character introduced. I would like to see something new in the genre for a change.

I’m also hoping the romance you will have gets a good amount of depth and you get a chance to flesh her out since you won’t have to focus on a bunch of women.

It is a very enjoyable story, I kinda want to know the age of the world though, and soon Nick's progression Train will need some slight breaking to slow his rocket like advance he seems to be experiencing. (Just a personal feeling, and opinion)

Keep it up like it so far. Make it a little slower paced than some of your other books a little longer ? Just don’t get mired in the grind or fighting to fluff the word count like some authors do “Michael C COUGH COUGH”. You haven’t done it before but like you said it’s a departure from your usual. Don’t get lost in a side character either always drags a story down

I say definitely continue. Your stories are what I’ve always loved about your work. Your stories are also what introduced me to harem elements. Unfortunately most harem lit authors don’t have your ability to craft stories and so I’m often disappointed when I read them and their childish MCs. I only wish there was two of you as I’m waiting on several of your stories to continue now. In short, as long as you keep writing such interesting and FUN stories, I’ll read and buy everything you write. I already have all e-books and all audio books you’ve published!
