Mid March- Full updates and direction
Added 2019-03-15 06:06:03 +0000 UTCAllo!
The FF2 Audiobook is with Audible. Nothing else I can do for the time being.
DD2 Audiobook is with Andrea P. right now and she's working on it.
Remnant is scheduled for 4/07 and looks to be on target.
The book after that on 5/07 is Swing Shift. Which should be... interesting.
Now a few answers to questions:
Is there going to be a (Book Title) 4.
No.
There will be a new trilogy, but that's not any time soon.
Are all the books in the same universe?
(Spoilers in the this section. You should move down to the next bold line if you don't want to know.)
At this time, the number of books currently in the same universe is all of them. That is excepting Cultivating Chaos because it's in it's own universe.
When is Cultivating Chaos 2?
Unsure. I have ideas for it, and I plan on writing it, but i'm waiting for Blaise Corvin.
Why are you writing books that aren't Super Sales and Wild Wastes?
Because I don't want to write either of those right now. I'm enjoying writing other stories. Telling me they're "Junk books" comparatively or anything else like that doesn't encourage me to write SS4/WW4, it just makes me annoyed and resentful to SS and WW.
What's your current writing direction?
A new "hub" setting is how I think of it. It'll start with Swing Shift, and continue for a while. There will be a least 3 other series in this "hub".
Each series will be a trilogy.
What about after that?
Space and exploration "hub". I already have 3 series in that one, and am expanding on it.
Are you going to write an "avengers" type of series?
Suppose we'll find out eventually :D
How often do you post chapters to Patreon?
I try really hard to at least put up one a day. When the writing is fast and furious, I do 2 a day. There's also a situation that i'm in right now where I can't really speak about a book i'm writing, as it's likely someone would copy the idea rather quickly.
If you'd like an example... sure are a lot of Wuxia books popping up suddenly. Right after that Super Hero harem craze, and the monster-girl apocalypse madness.
I can't remember x character/y book. Why don't you put a character list in the book?
It'd take me too much time.

Are you going to x con?
Unlikely. I don't like going out. The sun is trying to kill me.
Do you sign books?
Only for special occasions/situations.
Where do you live?
Colorado
Holy crap, really? Me too! Can we meet up and-
No. The sun is trying to kill me.
I want to write into the VeilVerse!
Wait, really?
Alright.

Can I send you questions?
Sure, post'em in the comments. I'll add them to the post and add an answer.
You actually read all the way to the bottom? Kudos to you my good sir and/or madam. My deepest appreciation for your attention.

2019-03-24 01:19:40 +0000 UTCI suppose if the veil was as big as a galaxy (at most they're the size of Asia/Africa) than yes.

2019-03-24 00:38:12 +0000 UTCjust a random thought that may be derived from thinking about writing a Veilverse story and reading DD3 chapter 5, as well as the imbibing of an alcoholic beverage, but could Otherlife technically take place in the Veilverse universe, just in a veil wherein humanity colonized the stars? Just had to get that out of my head

2019-03-24 00:34:19 +0000 UTCLooking forward to it, loving all that's coming out, just need to start on Fostering Faust. I've heard too many great things about it to skip it.

2019-03-22 05:51:17 +0000 UTCDunno. I'm currently writing three books. Two which are being actively shared as early chapters. Once which I can't until practically June or July because it would get copy cats on it before I could even release it. That means Swing Shift two is likely a 9/07 or 10/07 release.

2019-03-22 05:44:23 +0000 UTCAny idea when Swing Shift book 2 will start on here? I know it hasn't been released yet, and it's set for April 7th, but I fell in love with it from the get go, and I can't wait for more.

2019-03-22 05:38:47 +0000 UTCIs the Farm going to be under a different name? If not, do you have an idea of when that is going to release?

2019-03-20 00:41:47 +0000 UTCI started with SS, which is how I found your work. Been loving everything I find of yours so far. Went on to Otherlife Trilogy then WW, any advise on which Trilogy to start next?

2019-03-18 00:05:39 +0000 UTCI am so excited for "the farm"/ Remnant if that is its new name that it hurts physically.

2019-03-15 18:11:56 +0000 UTCJust keep prodding at him and we can get you both to do a Colorado event. If it's here, probably best to wait until much later in the year though, Spring is a vague idea at best, we're still digging out from a proper blizzard .
2019-03-15 17:51:43 +0000 UTCI personally think your results speak for themselves. You have more patrons than anyone else on my list and your work is top notch. I love the farm series and can’t wait to see the second and third books of it! At the end of the day you can’t please everyone!

2019-03-15 17:49:52 +0000 UTCThere go my plans for driving to Colorado for a meet up....heh.

2019-03-15 16:28:41 +0000 UTCThese people calling any of your books "junk" blow and I don't like them.
Null_is_Void
2019-03-15 15:16:51 +0000 UTCYes. The Farm here on Patreon was the "working title", it will be published as Remnant

2019-03-15 14:15:53 +0000 UTCOr is it more along the lines of having multiple series in the same hub world instead of each taking place in a separate world within the same universe/multiverse setting you've made?
Zachary Johnson
2019-03-15 13:42:07 +0000 UTCMy only question is what exactly you mean by "hub"? The only thing I can think of is how runner is a hub in that SS, WW, DD and FF all link back to him. Are you meaning that your making another character similar to that?
Zachary Johnson
2019-03-15 13:37:39 +0000 UTCSo is Remnant the official title of the farm series?
Marcus Vasquez
2019-03-15 13:28:43 +0000 UTCAnyone who disparages anything not SS or WW is an uncultured cretin! I personally thoroughly enjoy everything that you've written and will continue to do so. It's amazing to me that you are able to churn out so many stories that, while sharing some vague commonalities (beyond being intertwined) but are individually so engaging and interesting with excellent character development. I find myself gauging all other authors by the bar you have set in my mind - and I am fairly well read, having consumed everything from Hemingway, Tolkien, and King to Conroe (my other favorite author), Lowell, Hinz (Paratwa series) and Correia and hundreds in between. Write on Writer!

2019-03-15 13:16:34 +0000 UTCHeh, well we do have a massive skin cancer rate here in Colorado... So yeah, there's that. If you ever decide to do anything public or a writers group, of course let us know. You could always convince someone here to mow your yard in exchanged for a beta readership ;)
2019-03-15 13:08:23 +0000 UTCAgree about the sun, especially in CO. Nature and I get along because Nature stays outside, and I stay inside. We leave each other alone.
2019-03-15 13:04:51 +0000 UTCIts a fact that 100% of people exposed to the sun die

2019-03-15 11:04:39 +0000 UTCI’m loving the new books and I appreciate the updates!!

2019-03-15 10:32:18 +0000 UTCI agree the sun is an evil serial killer.

2019-03-15 09:32:18 +0000 UTCI can understand that WW 4 and SSOSH 4 are highly requested but I feel like they would be too mixed to just make a book 4, thou that might just be my view. and the current batch of books are really fun to read :D
2019-03-15 08:03:22 +0000 UTCBoth
2019-03-15 07:58:19 +0000 UTCheh. Given the genre, I can't imagine who was expecting a book 4. 3 volume series is pretty much the standard. Also, WW is the junk series, imo. SSoSH was good though. If I could reliably push you to do anything it'd be to be a bit nicer on Ryker from DD. Pulling a DOTA on the churches of Light and Dark rather than sending them away would have kept them out of town, acted as a magnet to keep the war away from the kingdom and probably pleased the pair of them.

2019-03-15 07:33:20 +0000 UTCYes, question right here, please. Pancakes or Waffles? 🤔

2019-03-15 07:10:14 +0000 UTCThanks for the update I'm personally looking forward to the space exploration "hub" trilogy Hope there's a certain "boat" and AI in that trilogy fingers crossed True the sun is the enemy haven't gotten much of it yet here in Idaho but when it does come it Burns especially working construction like I do for 12 to 15 hours a day
