Onward!
Added 2018-12-06 17:10:37 +0000 UTCNow the real work begins.
As a full time author, we're going to start burning the writing.
The plan is to have 3 books written at the same time.
I'm kinda having weird thoughts on how to do the early chapters.
If I released 1 chapter of each book at the same time, that might be confusing? Or would it be more interesting to have 2 chapters of 1 book, then the next day 2 chapters of the next book, then 2 chapters, etc, etc,
Would love to hear your thoughts.
Also going to post the first chapter of two of the new books.

Whatever works best for you the more the merrier doesn't matter if it's a bunch of chapters for one book or 12 in my opinion.

2018-12-07 18:02:47 +0000 UTCDefinitely do the same book each time you release chapters. Having multiple book chapters released each day can make it hard to keep track of threads.

2018-12-07 04:51:20 +0000 UTCBook 1, chapters Monday and Thursday; book 2, chapters Tuesday and Friday; book 3, chapters Wednesday and Saturday. Sunday for extra stuff, like covers, fan art, etc.

2018-12-07 03:39:21 +0000 UTCI'll second that - do whatever works best for you. I think we can all handle remembering a few books at a time. it's not unusual for me to read 7-8 wuxia or Light Novels at once, as the fan translations are slow to release in many cases. we get a chapter maybe once a week (or month!), so we go around checking for new content and start other books while we wait.

2018-12-06 23:41:11 +0000 UTCAs far as when you post things, I would recommend splitting them according to the book. So post on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday with each day being specific to a book. That being said, personally - and I think for most of your patrons - we will read it whenever you post it. So do what works best for you

2018-12-06 21:55:45 +0000 UTCI don't mind reading multiple books at the same time personally but if its easier for you to post 2 chapters instead that'd be cool to. Mostly want to see what you have in mind for the other 2

2018-12-06 18:54:42 +0000 UTCEither is fine with me, personally, though other make a good point re: getting a more cohesive view with multiple chapters of a single book at a time.

2018-12-06 18:53:53 +0000 UTCI agree with Adam, get 2 chapters a day each day from different books would rock, always have something interesting to read in the evenings!

2018-12-06 18:11:06 +0000 UTCI think I like your second idea for releasing better. Two chapters of one story a day. It would be easy to keep track of whats going on in each, rather than 1 chapter of each book a day. Thats just my personal opinion though.

2018-12-06 17:37:22 +0000 UTCmost authors I know who do it full time write one book at a time, but switch between 3 too 4 series. Well Do what keeps you in the best flow.

2018-12-06 17:34:36 +0000 UTCAs far as whether getting chapters from different books being confusing goes, I think it won't be a problem. I know between patreon and royalroad I'm reading 13 different stories as they're being written

2018-12-06 17:29:58 +0000 UTCI think the right answer is whatever keeps you in a good flow writing-wise. If you get in a good groove with 1 particular book and get a bunch of chapters done don't switch books just to hit a quota, keep writing whatever's flowing.

2018-12-06 17:23:58 +0000 UTCI like the two chapters a day idea. Unless its weekend then release them all ((especially if it's more of Felix and Vince))
2018-12-06 17:20:46 +0000 UTC2 chapters a day seems like a good idea ...but it's nice to read a bunch of chapters at once for one book then wait a couple days... that give time to think about those chapters and switch mindsets to the other books ...

2018-12-06 17:18:15 +0000 UTCAs someone who’s used to reading 5 new books at the same time (royalroad) it doesn’t bother me. I’m guessing yours are also going to be differently themed so I think you’ll be fine posting chapters as they complete.

2018-12-06 17:14:37 +0000 UTCi know i loved to get two chapters of a book at once since it let me focus on one story, might be better to release a few of one book and then later a few of another to keep the story kind of together, otherwise the feed would kinda feel all over the place with one chapter for each book coming out every other day.
