2025-04-14 12:54:36 +0000 UTCThis was the first concert from Babymetal that I bought on DVD. Their DVDs aren't cheap, and I was so excited when it arrived. I put it into my DVD player, and I got nothing except a format won't read message. I didn't know at that time, that different countries use different formats for DVDs. In the spirit of live-and-learn, I bought a DVD player that could play both PAL and NTSC (I think that's what they're called) and while pushing the overall cost of being able to watch this DVD for the first time was almost 500 Pacific Pesos (Australian Dollars). That sounds like a lot, and it was at the time, but I watched this concert to death, and it also came with the bonus Legend 1999 concert as well. So, cost-per-view, these two concerts would be in the single digits of dollars per view. Outstanding value in my opinion. Jaron, this was a really good watch-along, I always enjoy your insights and can't wait to see your next Babymetal watch-along. Logically it will be Black Night 2014 at Budokan, but you might surprise me. Anyway, thank you for this watch along, I appreciate your work.
