nana monthly #5 | college asriel!

hello everyone! nana here!

this month's reward is finally ready, featuring a bit of a cameo from a different character! it's a two for one deal!

asriel is back home from college! too bad he forgot to mute his phone before gooning... when asgore comes in to check on all the strange noises, he finds a good opportunity to deal with how pent-up he's been for ages! or something like that...

nana wanted to experiment a bit with this one. new brush, new medium, difficult poses, panelling... it's very noticeable that this is nana's first time doing a comic page, isn't it? nana apologizes for rough it looks. it was a big learning experiment for nana, so next time hopefully it'll be a lot better!

other than that, nana has some alts to show you guys!
first off: an internal shot! everyone does it, nana has no idea how to do it, but he tried it anyways!

and second! nana wanted to ask you guys how much you like this version of the comic, lacking shading outside some small details like lighting:

you see, nana actually prefers this version a little bit more than the shaded one. so he wanted to hear what you guys think if possible! that way in the future he can stick to one or the other. of course, just flat like this is a whole lot less work, but nana wants to make stuff that looks good to his subscribers.

other than all that rambling, that's it for now! nana is super thankful for all the support so far, as usual. and nana of course apologizes for the lack of any art outside the monthly reward once again...

in truth he wasn't able to do many sketches to get a queue going again, since commission work ended up taking a lot more time than expected due to it catching the tail end of my physiotherapy + getting back to the usual rhythm while still dealing with a little pain.

but nana promises he'll do better moving foward! you guys deserve it after all!
