When Schiller saw the face of the little girl, he had no particular reaction, but he paused when he heard the name.

If he remembered correctly, from Greed’s memories, Quill and Rocket Raccoon had mentioned that they brought out a little girl from the Dream Space of the human mutations and settled her in Kamar-Taj.

This wasn’t surprising; even though it was called Dream Space, the concept of Marvel Space is essentially composed of infinite thoughts forming endless spaces. Therefore, the space created by Azathoth’s dreams also truly exists, making it entirely plausible to bring people out of it.

Schiller began to carefully review this segment of memory and then recalled that after he brought the Ancient One to this space, the Ancient One had saved the girl out of sympathy. However, unfortunately, the spell used to put her into a deep sleep allowed a maddening nightmare to invade her, resulting in her mutation and also breaking down his defenses, forcing him to remain in that space.

It was only later, when Quill and Rocket Raccoon revealed that this space was a dream, that the Ancient One and Scarlet Witch Wanda glimpsed a small part of the great existence behind this dream space.

But Schiller sensed something was off in this story.

The little girl, Jennifer, stood outside the dormitory door, holding a scepter in front of her chest, appearing somewhat detached from the situation. She nodded to Barry and said, “I’ve delivered the things. I’ll be going now.”

“Wait a moment.” Little Bruce put down his book and quickly walked to the door. How could he pass up the chance to understand the situation of this space from a native?

“What time does the lights go out here?” Little Bruce asked.

“There’s no specific time. If you want to catch up on your studies, you can stay up all night,” Jennifer replied, lowering her head and nodding slightly. She seemed a bit socially awkward, but Little Bruce wasn’t one to beat around the bush.

“We just got here and don’t understand many rules. Can we ask you to come in and sit for a bit? But we can’t use a magic wand yet, so we probably can’t prepare tea or snacks for you.”

Little Bruce was just expressing that he currently lacked power, which was harmless to anyone. However, Jennifer seemed to understand it differently. She appeared somewhat surprised and then said, “You don’t even have water? Alright, step aside.”

Little Bruce and Barry moved aside a bit. With a gentle wave of her magic wand, Jennifer set up a tea set on the table in the middle of the soft couch, and clear water appeared out of nowhere and filled the kettle, releasing steam and the aroma of tea.

Then, several plates fell onto the table, and Eastern-style dried fruit snacks were piled high on the plates.

“I can stay here for a while since I don’t sleep that early, but I’ve just arrived not long ago and have only attended one semester of classes, so I don’t know much,” Jennifer said, tightly gripping the scepter with both hands. Little Bruce noticed her shyness and pulled Barry to sit on one side of the couch, leaving Jennifer alone on the other.

“We just want to know some basic rules of the school, like the schedule, course arrangements, and how many professors there are and their names,” he said.

“And when can we use this magical magic wand?” Barry peeked out from behind Little Bruce to ask.

Jennifer seemed a bit overwhelmed by so many questions. She paused for a moment, blinked, and said, “There will be someone responsible for reminding you about the schedule. The course schedule is written on the board at the end of the corridor, and you’ll see it tomorrow morning.”

“As for professors… I don’t know which elective courses you picked, but there are four required main courses with four different teachers. The physical education instructor is Grand Mage Alena of the Holy Sword, the magic wand skills instructor is Kamar-Taj Butler Wang, the magic energy and skills instructor is Asgard Prince Loki Odinson, and the basics of Space instructor is cosmic agent Captain Blue Spirit.”

Among this long list of names, most were unfamiliar to Little Bruce, but he heard two words that sounded somewhat familiar, so he asked, “Asgard, Odinson?”

Jennifer nodded and said, “It’s the Asgard and Odin from mythology. Although I was surprised when I first arrived, they do exist. Loki Odinson is a little prince of the Asgard royal family and a very powerful sorcerer. His class is very interesting, and I also chose his magic and illusion course, which is also great.”

“So Asgard has gods too?”

Jennifer nodded. She looked somewhat surprised at the slightly irritated expression on Little Bruce’s face, but Little Bruce quickly composed himself and said, “Sorry, I just don’t have a good impression of gods. It seems like it’s getting late; let me walk you back to rest.”

“No, it’s fine, I can go back by myself.” Jennifer jumped down from the couch, waved at them, and walked out of the room.

After she left, Little Bruce pondered for a while, then waved at Barry and said, “Let’s sleep. We have to get up early for class tomorrow.”

Barry was already so sleepy that his eyes were almost closed. The two quickly washed up and then lay down on their beds, soon drifting off to sleep.

But this dream was anything but pleasant. Just as they lost consciousness, they were abruptly awakened and found themselves in a completely different room. A warm and gentle voice rang in their ears.

“You must be the new students Stephen mentioned, right? I am Charles Xavier, the director of Dream Academy. You can call me Professor Xavier. Since you’ve arrived, let’s start sorting you into houses.”

Little Bruce and Barry were truly baffled now. Another school? Another sorting?

Just as they were completely unprepared, a flash of white light transported them into a grand hall. In the middle of the hall was a chair, and on it lay a dusty hat.

Following the voice’s guidance, Little Bruce sat down on the stool. As soon as the hat was placed on his head, he heard an extremely exaggerated voice.

“Oh my! What on earth is crammed into that little head of yours? Strange, absurd, yet full of talent, wisdom… incredibly high wisdom! And a deep darkness… Of course, you should go to—Stark College!”

Next, Barry also sat in the chair, startled by the voice, which sounded again in an odd and exaggerated theatrical tone.

“You possess a resilience that ordinary people cannot reach, along with a fateful talent. What kind of ability could this be? It’s hard to judge right now, but I sense this talent; you will find a home here—Xavier College, without a doubt!”

As the two children left the hall, they were still dizzy, unable to understand how all of this had happened. However, that gentle voice seemed to sense their confusion, and a flood of memories was directly poured into their minds.

Barry was completely overwhelmed, but Bruce, with his exceptional intelligence and strong understanding ability, forcibly comprehended all this knowledge in a short time.

“So, there are actually two colleges: daytime classes at Kamar-Taj and night classes at Dream Academy?!” Little Bruce felt it was somewhat absurd. “How do the students here manage? Don’t they get exhausted to death?!”

“The knowledge you learn here won’t be fully remembered; it will only integrate into your subconscious, accelerating your ability to understand it when you encounter it again. I’ll explain in detail later. Stark’s physics class is about to start, and you’ll regret missing it.”

Little Bruce snorted; although he still stepped toward the classroom, he whispered, “No teacher’s class can be so exciting that I’d regret it.”

About half an hour later, Little Bruce zoomed in front of Stark, stopping his intended departure and saying, “Wait a moment, Professor Stark! Regarding the point you mentioned at the end of the class about the effects of combining magic energy and the Ark Reactor, may I understand it this way…”

Before Little Bruce could finish, Stark looked him up and down, and when he saw his appearance and eyes, he immediately widened his eyes and said, “Bruce Wayne?! What’s your relationship with Bruce Wayne? Are you his illegitimate son?”

“You know Bruce Wayne?”

“Yes, we… let’s say we’re friends; he’s actually a friend of a friend of mine. What’s going on? He didn’t tell me to help him bring children!”

Little Bruce waved his hand impatiently; he didn’t want to explain anything about being an illegitimate child. He said, “The effects of combining the Ark Reactor and magic…”

“That was just something I mentioned casually; it’s not what you should be learning right now. You need to solidify your foundation first…”

“I’ve already solidified my foundation.” Little Bruce said seriously to Stark, “And I don’t think you have anything deeper to teach me.”

Stark’s eyes widened, and he inhaled sharply, rolling up his sleeves and saying, “Your father didn’t raise you like this, did he? Didn’t he tell you about the incredible wisdom of the great Stark?… Well, since that’s the case, I’ll have to teach you personally!”

The next morning, Little Bruce was awakened by Barry shaking him. Barry was anxiously waving his hand in front of his eyes, grabbing his shoulders and saying, “Wake up! The senior who called to wake you up left ten minutes ago. If you don’t wake up now, we’ll be late!”

When Little Bruce sat up, Barry was surprised to see his face and exclaimed, “Oh my! What happened to you? Why do you look so pale?”

Little Bruce still wasn’tfully awake. He replied somewhat dazedly, “Nothing, it’s just that my brain received too much information last night, and now it’s… uh, it’s not functioning quite right.”

“Really? I only remember dreaming about going to school last night. It’s not surprising to dream about what you think about during the day, right? Now hurry up, we’re really going to be late.”

Barry nearly dragged Little Bruce out of bed, pushing him into the bathroom. Thankfully, after Little Bruce washed up, he felt a bit more alert, though he was still somewhat slow to respond; at least he could walk on his own now.

Barry hurried him toward the canteen, and by the time they arrived, it was already packed with students.

Amidst the crowd, Barry spotted a familiar figure and waved, shouting, “Shirila! Shirila!”

The Indian girl turned her head to look at them and walked over slowly. Barry stared at the large dark circles under her eyes and said, “What’s wrong with you two? You didn’t stay up all night, did you?”

“Pretty much,” Shirila nodded. Her expression was filled with worry. Her light brown eyes glanced around, and she pulled Barry’s arm, leading him to a quieter spot. “There was an incident last night in the fourth grade. Someone had a mental breakdown and recklessly used a magic wand, injuring a student. You guys should be careful.”

Barry’s heart sank. Ignoring Shirila, he immediately scanned the crowd for Harley, who was entering the canteen with Helen.

“Did you see the student who was dragged out?” Helen asked in a hushed tone. “That incident was really close to our dorm.”

Harley frowned tightly and said, “I think he went crazy. It’s not just an expression; he really lost it.”

“How do you know?”

Harley took a deep breath. “Nobody understands madness in this space better than I do.”
