Schiller had always been skeptical about the existence of the All Things Will in the DC. Their emotions were relatively weak, which meant that Schiller's most effective tactics might not work as effectively on them.
Therefore, when they appeared, Schiller was naturally on high alert, ready to deploy his physical therapy at the most opportune moment.
Schiller and the Queen of May were at a complete impasse. Schiller believed that the Queen of May was in denial, and the Queen of May seemed to have no idea what had happened. They argued for a while, but it yielded no results, and in the end, it was the Queen of May who backed down first.
The candidate was not willing to become a proxy for the time being, and there was no good solution. Moreover, the madman on the other side had cursed her, and she had to leave immediately and find a way to escape from Constantine.
Of course, the Queen of May had heard of Constantine's notorious reputation. She knew that associating with this name would not lead to anything good, and she certainly did not want to be visited one day by a horde of demons and angels.
Eager to break the curse, the Queen of May was not inclined to linger. She gradually removed the vines and planned to leave Pamela's mental space and this place behind.
However, Schiller was not going to let her leave so easily. As the vines disappeared from the room, he glanced at Catwoman and said to her, "I'll send you back first, and then go after her."
"Wait a moment," Catwoman spoke up. "Are you saying that the chaos in Gotham is actually caused by these vines?"
Schiller furrowed his brow slightly and said, "We can't be completely sure yet, but it's highly likely. After all, since the chaos began, the only unfamiliar presence here is one."
"If she really came for Little Pam, then I'll stay here with her. In case this strange entity tries to pull a fast one, I can protect her," Catwoman said as she approached Pamela and helped her up from her chair.
Schiller didn't try to persuade her further because he wasn't sure if All Things Green would return. So he said to Catwoman, "The counterpart to All Things Green is known as All Things Red, representing all the animals in the world."
"You're a human who calls herself a cat, so you should be able to get All Things Red's attention. If you sense anything amiss, you can go to Dreamland through dreaming and find the dream god Morpheus. He can help you contact All Things Red."
Schiller said this because All Things Green, All Things Red, and the Land of Decay were the three elements of life, and they balanced each other. If one of them grew too powerful, it would devour the others, causing friction between the three.
All Things Red had once incarnated as a green-eyed black cat, and as one of the main characters, Catwoman should be able to get its attention. It could serve as a backup plan to balance All Things Green.
After giving these instructions, Schiller turned to leave, but Catwoman stopped him, saying, "Are you planning to go after All Things Green alone?"
At this point, a weakened Pamela also stood up and looked at Schiller, saying, "Professor Schiller, you really shouldn't take such risks. During the mental connection just now, I realized that it's not just one person on the other side. Going alone is too dangerous."
Schiller noticed that Pamela's tone was always cold, and her facial expressions rarely changed. But that didn't necessarily mean she was angry; it was more likely that her emotions were not well conveyed through her facial expressions.
Schiller chuckled and shook his head. "I'm not going alone."
After a while, in Schiller's Temple of Thought, many versions of Schiller were queuing on the ground floor. The team led to the door of the Temple of Thought, and after passing through the door, they arrived next to the ladder of the Ship of the Underworld.
Superego held a book in one hand and a pen in the other. As each Schiller approached, he would glance at them, make a note in his notebook, stamp it, tear out that page, and hand it to them, saying, "You've passed. Board the ship."
The DC Schiller, dressed in a black suit, stood in the center of the team. In front of him was a Marvel Schiller in a white coat. DC Schiller sighed and said, "All Things Green should have come earlier. At that time, we didn't need physical exams."
Marvel Schiller shook his head and said, "There's a reason for the exams. Ever since we released many personas to roam freely, the administrators found that many of these personas were mentally unstable. It's difficult to bring them back once they're let loose."
"Oh well, it doesn't matter. As one of the personas who frequently float up, do we ever fail the exams?" Marvel Schiller shrugged and said, "They don't have to commute to work like us and can occasionally go out. Honestly, I envy them a bit."
DC Schiller gently stroked the handle of his umbrella and said, "As one of the personas who frequently float up, we don't seem to enjoy any benefits... Oh, it's your turn."
Marvel Schiller turned his head, and Superego looked at him, said nothing, handed him a piece of paper, tilted his head, gestured for him to board the ship. Then, DC Schiller walked up, and Superego stared at him. After a second, Superego spoke, "Not approved."
DC Schiller froze, his disbelief evident. "What did you say?!!"
"I said your medical exam didn't pass, so you can't join the military campaign."
DCSchiller immediately widened his eyes and exclaimed, "Do you even know what you're saying? This is my plan, and I can't go?"
"No matter whose plan it is, if you fail the medical exam, you can't go," Superego said sternly, waving his hand dismissively. "Hurry up and leave, don't delay the next person."
"But why did I... Why did I fail the medical exam?" DCSchiller asked with a puzzled expression. "I'm one of the personas with the most stability, especially when floating to the surface."
"You?" Superego looked him up and down again and replied, "You have sleep deprivation."
DCSchiller's eyes widened, but soon, the Schillers behind him had already pushed him out of the team, leaving him standing helplessly next to Superego.
Watching one Schiller after another board the Ship of the Underworld, the ship set sail towards the unknown, leaving only DCSchiller alone, gazing into the distance in solitude.
DCSchiller sighed and walked back to the High Tower, muttering to himself, "He just wants to get back at me. Last time, when Dream of a Thousand Cats got scared and dragged the entire High Tower into Dreamland, they ended up homeless. He's really petty..."
He shook his head as he approached the elevator and, after entering it, pressed the button for his room floor, intending to rest and wait for good news. However, halfway through the elevator ride, it suddenly came to a halt.
DCSchiller walked forward and pressed the buttons for each floor one by one with the tip of his Umbrella but found no response. He then pressed the emergency call button, and his own voice came through the microphone, saying, "The elevator is under maintenance. Please wait."
The Schiller inside the elevator covered his forehead, suspecting that the administrators were intentionally opposing him, but he had no evidence.
So, he could only sit down, lean against the elevator wall, stretch one leg out, bend the other, and support it on his knee while fiddling with his Umbrella.
He waited like this for a full two to three hours before the elevator finally returned to normal. DCSchiller was finally able to return to his room. However, as soon as he entered, he discovered that there were some unexpected guests.
Following their traces, Schiller found that they had gone to the room he least wanted to visit. But to understand what was going on, he had no choice but to go to that room, the one that terrified him the most.
Schiller looked at Batman, Constantine, and Zatanna standing opposite him, their faces filled with anger. He took a deep breath and said, "Which one of you wants to explain why you are here?!!"
Batman first glanced at Schiller, who stood motionless at the door, then turned to look at the massive blue cabbage behind him, and finally back at Schiller. He then spoke, "We just stumbled in."
Schiller was about to take a step forward but hesitated. He remained in place and waved at them, saying, "Come over here."
The three of them seemed to have caught on to something. Zatanna, Constantine, and Batman hugged the trunk of the enormous blue cabbage tightly, refusing to take a step forward. Constantine spoke, "You come over first."
"No, you come over first."
"No, you come over first."
The three of them were resolute in not moving forward, and Schiller was equally determined not to get close to the gigantic blue cabbage. They remained at a standoff.
Finally, Schiller couldn't stand being in the room any longer. He pointed his Umbrella at the three of them and said, "I don't care why you're here, but right now, get out of here immediately!"
"Uh, can we leave?" Constantine asked tentatively. But before Schiller could respond, he immediately signaled to Zatanna. Zatanna's hands lit up with magic, and as they left, they heard Schiller's furious roar:
"Get out!!!!!!!!"
Suddenly, they found themselves back on the rooftop of a building in the Spirit Realm. Constantine sat on the ground, panting heavily, and said, "I can't believe we actually made it back. Thank God, thank the blue cabbage..."
Batman also seemed somewhat surprised. In theory, what had just happened was something that could not end well. Judging by Schiller's tolerance level, he shouldn't have let them leave unscathed after trespassing into his room without reason.
Zatanna appeared to be the most exhausted. After her final burst of magical energy, she could hardly move. Constantine tried to reach out to help her, but she gave him a stern look, so Batman stepped in instead.
"I'll take you to a safe place to rest," Batman said. "If the Curse of Extreme Evil you mentioned is real, I'll investigate its source and deal with it. After all, I'm also a Gothamite, and protecting this place is my responsibility."
Batman helped Zatanna to her feet, and Constantine stood behind them, glancing around before saying, "I won't disturb you two. I need to meet those foolish Dark Sorcerers. Although they're short-sighted idiots, they can at least keep many demons in check. If we let them enter Gotham without resistance, they'll surely perish here, and that would be troublesome for me."
Batman looked back at him, seemingly not entirely convinced by his words, but in the end, he said nothing and walked away, supporting Zatanna as they left.
