"Barack, you've always been the most experienced and forward-thinking among us. If you think Gana General's plan isn't feasible, what do you intend to do?" Schiller looked into Captain America's eyes and inquired.

Captain America shook his head and replied, "I don't know for sure. I just don't want him to lead all the Skrulls towards destruction with his madness. The Skrull Empire should be revived, but not here, not on Earth, not in the Nine Realms. We should have a homeland of our own."

"What's more important, Doctor, do you really believe he can control all of humanity?" Captain America furrowed his brow. He continued, "Right now, it's not about whether we're willing to go to war with humans; it's about whether we can win."

"These past few days, I've seen firsthand how cunning and cruel humans can be. Traveling through space with the Skrull fleet for so many years, I've never seen any race excel so remarkably in persecuting their own kind."

"Our vision of assimilating with humans meant that as long as we shared their appearance and abilities, they would welcome us gladly, leveraging our experience and capabilities to reach the pinnacle of power."

"But when we truly assimilated with them, we found that they subdivided their own race into even finer categories, pitting themselves against each other. We chose one side, only to discover that within that side, there were countless further divisions."

"We didn't join one big family; we joined a war that's becoming more intricate and absurd with each passing moment."

"Captain America and Hydra are both human, yet they are enemies. Captain America, the military, and the council all belong to the U.S. political system, but they are not allies. Captain America and Iron Man are both Avengers, yet they are not complete allies..."

"What have we assimilated into? Nothing. In the end, we remain fragmented individuals, fighting among ourselves within human society, with no one gaining a significant advantage."

"In this bizarre and strange society, can we really rule all of humanity through this plan?"

Schiller shook his head and said, "Honestly, I don't entirely support Gana General's plan either, but..."

Schiller lowered his voice and continued, "The main ship of the Polar Star is in his hands. When we first landed on Earth, he was the only one armed. All our scientific and technological means of resistance were confiscated. We have no way..."

Captain America paused, glancing at the broken pieces of glass on the ground. He said, "Maybe, we have a natural ally."

"Who?"

"Humans."

Schiller furrowed his brow, and Captain America sighed, "I don't have any particular fondness for humans. They are a mad and chaotic race, and they've reached this point solely because of their wickedness."

"But it's precisely because of their wickedness and cruelty that many races are unwilling to engage in all-out war with them. You should know that on Earth, there are creatures like vampires who have always sought to control the entire planet. Yet, no one dares to openly wage war against humanity."

"That's because they are well aware that if they do, they'll push the entire human race to the brink of extinction. These crazy beings wouldn't hesitate to drag their adversaries, the entire planet, and even the entire galaxy, down into hell."

"The only advantage Skrulls have is our shapeshifting ability. Humans currently have no means to fully expose our disguises. So, once we approach them and reveal the potential threat posed by Gana, they will have to rely on us to prevent this clandestine invasion."

Captain America sighed, "We must stop Gana, or else, as resistance against his plan grows, he will become increasingly insane."
"Once he becomes ensnared in the vortex of hatred, seeking the destruction of humanity, whether it's the Sorcerer Supreme or the All-Father, neither will permit him to do so. He will drag us all down with him."

"Cooperating with humans... it might be a viable option," Schiller said after taking a sip of water and speaking slowly. "The enemy of our enemy is our friend. Since we are all dissatisfied with Gana's actions, collaborating with humans may not be out of the question."

"However, we must choose our allies carefully. Infighting among human factions is constant, and if we align with one, we might make enemies of several others. Furthermore, many factions may be reluctant to risk cooperation with aliens."

Schiller frowned and continued, "First, they must be willing to work with us, and second, they must have the resources and capabilities to deal with Gana and the weapons and spaceship in his possession."

At this point, Schiller paused as if he had an idea, and Captain America looked at him and asked, "Whom are you thinking of?"

"Mutants," Schiller replied.

"Cooperating with ordinary humans wouldn't earn us their trust because we are aliens, and we can transform into their kind at any time."

"Human distrust stems from their vulnerability. They know they lack the means to deal with us, so they must bluff, hoping we will back down. Once we reveal our true identities, they will undoubtedly try to assert their dominance."

"But mutants themselves are powerful enough. Even if we assume their appearance, they have the ability to subdue us instantly, whether it's Professor X or Magneto. Cooperation becomes more feasible when our strengths are on the same level."

"While ordinary humans might help us to combat General Gana, their primary gain would be their own safety. However, if mutants collaborate with us, they can gain much more."

Captain America squinted and asked, "Such as?"

"Mutants are ostracized by ordinary human society, right? They struggle to enter space independently due to their lack of industrial foundation. So, we can provide them with that foundation."

"Don't forget, we took the entire industrial system of the Skrull Empire with us. Even if we can't set up production lines on our spaceship, we have the blueprints, and as Alengel, disguised as Tony Stark, we have one of the top scientists of the Skrull Empire."

"What is the Skrull Empire best known for? Isn't it helping a civilization transition from barbarism to the interstellar stage? Our experience has been tested and proven in countless civilizations. This is our biggest bargaining chip in negotiations with mutants."

Captain America pondered for a moment and said, "Indeed, if we use this approach to negotiate with ordinary humans, they may not realize the value of these things."

"While I've always thought humans are quite insane, I must admit they are creative and talented. They are a very young race, but they have made rapid progress, transitioning from barbarism to space at a pace unimaginable to other races. In this regard, they indeed have the confidence to stand on their own without relying on others."

"But mutants find themselves in a more awkward position. Ordinary society doesn't readily accept them, and they are not inclined to associate with regular humans. However, if they don't catch the fast train of human civilization, given their population and development rate, it won't be easy for them to secure a place in interstellar society."

"If they can't catch the human express, the Skrulls can offer them a dedicated train. The price would only be helping us regain what rightfully belongs to us, Gana's weapons and fleet, which pose a significant threat to ordinary humans but are hardly worth mentioning to entities like Magneto."

Captain America found the plan more and more feasible and immediately turned to Schiller, saying, "Doctor, can you contact Professor X? I mean, with Dr. Schiller's identity..."

"It's possible," Schiller furrowed his brow and replied, "but I think it's best not to do so. I cannot guarantee that the formidable Psychic Professor X won't detect any anomalies. If I were to contact him under a false identity, and he sensed something amiss, he might perceive us as insincere or even become hostile toward us..."
"That..."

"I believe we should first contact the legitimate Dr. Schiller. Based on my understanding of his memories, he should be willing to assist us."

Captain America's grip on the railing tightened momentarily as he replied, "Are you sure? If we anger him, the consequences could be severe. Our abilities, as copies, have a lower ceiling compared to the originals, especially telepathy..."

"In his memories, I understood that there was once a human faction, quite similar to the ancient Skrulls, known as internationalists, while the Skrulls can be referred to as interstellarists."

"The goal of this theory was to liberate all of humanity, aligning with the Skrulls' ideal of space prosperity and civilization. It's a striking coincidence."

"Nevertheless, we are merely aliens who arrived on Earth, and we have no mortal enemies with them. Though we replaced these superheroes, we did not kill anyone."

"Moreover, during this time, we have diligently fulfilled the mission of protecting humanity as superheroes."

"Even if we consider the fact that we once completed unfinished missions for his old friend, he should still be willing to help us."

Captain America hesitated for a moment, just as he was about to respond, Schiller's phone rang. He picked up the phone and said, "Hello? Director?... You want me to go to Stark Tower? "

"Alengel, what happened?... Make him behave better? But... I..." Schiller remained silent for a long time, then hung up the phone and looked at Captain America, saying, "Gana has gone mad; he wants to take action against Alengel!"

Captain America immediately gripped the armrest of the railing and exclaimed, "He's not thinking of brainwashing Alengel, is he? He's gone insane!"

"Alengel is a first-tier researcher at the Skrull Research Institute! In the entire Empire, there are no more than 20 scientists like him! They are the essence of our civilization!"

"If you ask me to choose between Alengel and the Polar Star's flagship, I will definitely choose the former. Spaceships can be rebuilt, but if we lose top scientists, it would be a disaster for our entire civilization!"

Schiller seemed to make a decision, stood up from his chair, and said, "I'm afraid we don't have much time. I must head to Stark Tower immediately to deal with the crazed Gana."

After saying that, he wrote down an address on a medical record book and continued, "The Director sent Dr. Schiller to New Mexico to work on a warehouse theft case with Natasha and Barton; this is how he diverted the doctor."

"This is the address of the base. Find him and persuade him... this is our last chance."

Captain America took the note, took a deep breath, and watched Schiller walk out of the medical room. He closed his eyes and lay down, his mind filled with memories of the glorious Skrull Empire.

About ten seconds later, he leaped out of the bed, holding the note, and walked decisively towards the upper office of S.H.I.E.L.D., where he found female agent Sharon Carter.

"Carter Agent, there's something I must ask of you. Find a way to take me to the address on this note. Don't ask why; one day, I'll explain it to you."
