Community Chats & Extra Reactions

Hey fam, this is a long post so apologies 😂

I started a discord a while ago for everyone to be able to have one hub to chat to each other. I wanted to create a fun community there! However….. I found it incredibly overwhelming to keep up with because I was checking/replying to comments on YouTube, Patreon, twitter, and then discord. As you guys know, my schedule is jam packed. So trying to reply in so many areas was overwhelming AF 😂 I am also very well known to suck at replying, so whilst I was doing my best, my personality was getting in the way hahaha.

The discord was created before Patreon had the community chat area, but now that there is one here, I’m wondering a couple of things.

Do you want me to try and re-vamp the discord back up? Try my best to be active there? Or can we just use the chat here in Patreon? Somewhere we can dump our thoughts and share different things.

It’s easier for me to just be active here, BUT you guys are really important to me and I want to do whatever will be best for the community.

My other thought is that if I do focus on making the discord more lively, maybe I could open it up for my YouTube community too. As of right now, there is no one spot for my YouTube community to communicate.

Extra reactions

The second thing I wanted to inform you all about is the extra reactions. A few weeks ago I created a google form for everyone to send reactions they wanted me to watch. I was hoping to do one bonus reaction each week, but I’ve run into a couple of problems.

In December, I had sooooo much time. I was hardly working. But now…. My schedule is CRAZY. Monday and Wednesday are my only days where I just get to make videos. On Tuesday and Friday I need to leave the house by 12:00pm to get to coaching, on Thursday I’m in the office all day. And Friday afternoon I drive to Newcastle (3 hours north) to train with my team Friday and Saturday.

Usually I record my reactions for the day, on the same day. But now, I need to pre-record videos in advance so that I have enough time on Friday mornings to do my live (this week I might do the live on Sunday) I’m struggling to be able to do this. So getting in an extra reaction just isn’t happening.

I’m hoping I can find my groove over the next few weeks, but just updating you in regards to where the extra reactions are at lol.
