Transformers Begin : Table of Content/Chapter List

XXX-----XXX-----XXX-----XXX

Late at night, in the early hours of the morning.

A highly unusual motorcycle was speeding down the deserted streets of South Capital like lightning.

The rider of the motorcycle was dressed in an inconspicuous black bodysuit that didn't stand out in the darkness. The contours of the bodysuit revealed that this was likely an adult male.

After more than twenty minutes, the motorcycle arrived near Tiger King Ridge.

Sun Cheng slowed down and deliberately circled the area before quietly entering Base One.

"It should be safe!"

He removed a pair of oversized glasses from his face, and on the lens of his left eye, there was a radar scanning interface.

This was a small device he had created using Frenzy's mechanical body during his time in Transformers Universe. It was a small-scale electromagnetic wave scanner that could detect electromagnetic fluctuations within a twenty-meter radius centered on himself.

Sun Cheng couldn't afford to be careless. Since he had come into contact with the government, although he had damaged some of the surveillance equipment placed near his residence by the National Security Bureau the last time, they had not made any further attempts to closely monitor him.

However, according to the information collected by Revenge and micro-scale surveillance devices, there were still at least seven teams of personnel monitoring him around his residence and Corporation.

They had reached an unspoken agreement to keep the surveillance at a distance that didn't disrupt his normal life and work, so Sun Cheng pretended not to notice.

In fact, a few days ago, Sun Cheng had rented a rental house not far from his Villa through Revenge's network.

Tonight, he used an optical invisibility cloak to avoid the eyes of those who were monitoring him and came directly to the rental house.

In the rental house, another motorcycle, also purchased online by Revenge, had been parked here for a while.

Sun Cheng didn't have a motorcycle license, but it wasn't too difficult to handle.

In the past two nights, he had secretly ridden the motorcycle on the road for over a hundred kilometers at night, but time was of the essence.

After confirming the safety of his surroundings, Sun Cheng took out what looked like an ordinary key from the Spherical Space and unlocked the iron gate that surrounded Base One.

After parking the motorcycle behind the iron gate, he carefully locked the gate and glanced lightly at a hidden camera not far away.

Then, Sun Cheng spoke, "It's me, Safeguard, stand down!"

From a concealed spot, a metallic spider, about the size of a child's toy, quickly crawled out. At the same time, a cold, mechanical voice sounded as the metallic spider appeared.

"Yes, Master."

An open and desolate small mountain, a place both familiar and unfamiliar.

Although in the Real World, Sun Cheng had only been here for a little over a month.

But if you counted the time he spent in Transformers Universe, it had already been more than half a year.

Half a year was enough to make many familiar things seem strange when seen again.

Although Sun Cheng had gained experience, this feeling of familiarity and strangeness still made him uncomfortable every time.

The entrance to Base One had already been fitted with a camouflage net, a special device created using optical technology.

It could simulate the surrounding environment, perfectly concealing the entrance to Base One. Even if someone approached within one meter of the entrance, they wouldn't detect its secret.

It had been a while since he had come here. Without the guidance of the metallic spider, even Sun Cheng would have to fumble around near the entrance to find the hidden opening.

Even if he had learned wall-penetration magic, his figure still collided directly with a mountain wall at the foot of the hill, and then entered a long corridor.

The lighting in the corridor wasn't fully turned on, so the light appeared slightly orange.

Sun Cheng didn't pay much attention to it; he walked straight towards the depths of Base One.

It took a good six or seven minutes to reach the central control room, which was nearly a hundred meters underground.

"...Master, Safeguard reporting to you!"

Inside the control room, Safeguard had transformed into its combat form and bowed respectfully to him.

Sun Cheng nodded, "You've worked hard recently. I just noticed that two more workshops have been completed!"

A week ago, when he sensed that he might be under surveillance, he had instructed Safeguard to temporarily halt the construction of Base One.

However, he had clearly underestimated the capabilities of Safeguard and the hundreds of robots he had brought back with him.

In Base One, several underground factory workshops that had originally been on the planning board were now nearing completion, and one had already been more than half finished.

But don't think that this place was small just because it was built underground.

Although Base One couldn't compare to Base Two in the Transformers Universe, which had a total floor area of over 12 square kilometers.

This was still one of the most critical rear bases in the main world, as per Sun Cheng's original plan.

Therefore, the underground factory area of the base, the size of each factory workshop, varied based on the planning and future production tasks.

For example, one of the slightly larger workshops that had just been completed in Base One had dimensions of 50 meters by 30 meters by 5 meters and would be used for the production of medium to large equipment components.

The other, slightly smaller workshop had dimensions of 40 meters by 20 meters by 5 meters and was for industrial machine maintenance.

Because the base was built underground, it wasn't as simple as excavating a huge space with robots, building walls around it, and then plastering it with cement.

Tiger King Ridge wasn't far from the Yangtze River, and the underground water system was still abundant.

When starting construction on the underground base, they not only had to deal with the challenge of underground water seepage but also had to consider future risks such as earthquakes and military strikes.

It wasn't an exaggeration to say that, according to Base One's standards, handing over such a workshop to a human construction team would take at least a year to complete.

Yet Safeguard and its comrades had built two in less than a month, simultaneously increasing the total built area of Base One to over 30,000 square meters. Their efficiency was evident.

Safeguard respectfully added, "Master, the batch of construction robots you sent last time was a great help. Their efficiency is nearly twice that of the original industrial robots."

Construction robots were a special type of robot that Decepticon engineers had specifically modified for underground facility construction, based on the foundation of industrial robots.

With experience from working on underground projects spanning tens of millions of square meters in the Transformers Universe, the Decepticon engineers had indeed improved the efficiency of these construction robots compared to ordinary industrial robots.

Sun Cheng nodded, "I've brought another batch. Later, place them in the warehouse. Activate them when you have the chance, and install the other batch of equipment I brought with me. I'll need you to produce a batch of equipment for me in a while; I'll purchase the raw materials and deliver them as soon as possible."

"Yes, Master!"
