The producers decided none of TEEZ did it well enough so one of them did it instead. Of course he's not going to do it live after that. There was something about Coachella that made him just do it - and everyone loved it. I think the festivals this year are why Mingi does stuff too. From bits of things he's said this year, I think he started thinking a lot more about how to engage people in the audience who don't even listen to KPOP. How can he make the show more fun for them - *I think* with the non-KPOP-exclusive festivals, live band sets, crazy weather, etc. this year, they have shifted their focus from trying to do a perfect show to doing a fun, engaging live show, so we get more screaming and ad-libs.
