I really don't get the subject/object stuff either. For some reason i'm way better at picking up grammar structure by listening to the language being spoken. Cause if you know the vocabulary you kinda start getting a feel for what sounds natural and right and what doesn't over time. That's how I learned english as well. Otherwise it just doesn't work for me xD

SM is known for having vocal powerhouses too and having heard the member’s pre debut singing videos plus this video, I have no doubt they’re wonderful vocalists, but imo, SM is doing them such a disservice by having them either not sing live at all or lipsync to a pre-recorded live track. Aespa can 100% do both live vocals, dance, and stage presence but if you’re not giving them the space to do it in front of fans and improve over time, they’re just not going to reach the level they can. I think though SM is stepping in the right direction because the difference in stage presence/choreo/dance skill from the debut is already sooooo apparent

2024-02-25 08:37:50 +0000 UTCI’d say for the aespa video, you’ve mostly seen the videos where their stage presence massivelyyyyy improved. In this video though, I think the lack of stage presence and dance power is cause they’re really focusing on the live vocals as the mic volume is way higher than most other stages. I mostly recommended this not for the overall performance quality but more for the raw vocals

And to make it even better it was on my birthday. So thaf clip you saw it was staple center in LA. and the date was Aug 10 2019 :) literally two months before wonho left. So I cherish that a lot.
