I remember someone made a thread compiling all the book recommendations Lee Know had made and there were many books about behaviour and communication and how to be yourself etc., I think Lee Know has actively studied how best to put himself over so he feels in control and comfortable, he can be really shy when outside of SKZ and nerves and stage presence was his first criticism in the survival show so I wonder if he decided to focus on it. I think Lee Know is both himself, and always aware he is on view so to speak, he also gives me slight socially awkward vibes. His mind works quite differently to most people, his train of thought jumps around, he acts in ways some people can find 'weird' and so he finds his role with each person that works and is comfortable and runs with it. He and Seungmin love each other a lot, but they are both kind of similar in not being very emotionally expressive and teasing as a form of love, so for them bickering and verbally sparring is their love language, and they found their format with the divorced couple routine and it just became reality. Lee Know seeks attention and affection from those he loves, and I think Stay count, he knows how to play with us and bicker and flirt- be the 'pro idol', in the same way he can tease and play with Hyunjin and be that tsundere flirty character. He doesn't seem to be the type who gets close by having deep conversations like Felix would, but by playing with someone. He said he wanted to try and give Changbin more support recently and he's become more flirty, which I think is his way of actively bonding. He's just a strange little firefly who shines brightly around people he loves and shows it in his own way is my take. I am so very fond of him ^-^

I think it’s the shift that made me feel that way, we all saw sweet Lee Know in the beginning and then he got more comfortable with his personality and started to become savage Lee Know. In this transition it was when Seungmin and him started to have the Tom and Jerry relationship 😂 it’s this stage of their friendship that I started to question if they actually got along or not. I don’t think this now, but I did question that stage of their bond a little 🙈

for leeknows and seungmins relationsship, i remember the time right around and after debut they were really soft with each other and kind of quietly close, if that makes sense. then they got their divorced couple storyline and really started playing into it. so that may be why you got the impression that they weren't close or didn't really get along. But i don't think thats true at all, since leeknow has told us that seungmin was the first to open up to him and befriend him when he joined jyp. I guess youre right with lee know really playing into whatever "concept" stays are currently enjoying.

Yes yes yes I think you're absolutely right about Lee Know! You can see in his face that he gets so much satisfaction from getting a reaction out of someone (esp the ass smacking- I think he likes the reaction more than the 'hunt' lol) so since doing things that play into certain roles/dynamics always gets the reaction he wants from Stays, he's really going to lean into that. And he gets a response from the member he's interacting with too so I think that also contributes (like the fake disgust @ chan's affection will always result in a laugh from chan and a series of 'awwws' from Stays)

this was so wholesome, my cheeks hurt from smiling 😭💗 i see old videos of Lee Know and Seungmin from shortly after debut, and honestly they were so soft then they got the divorced couple concept in like late 2019 and really went for it, but i never thought they didn't like each other. in the maxident era episode of weekly idol that they did, i remember Lee Know saying that him teasing stay is out of affection, and i think the same applies to him teasing his members. also he's just such a cat trapped in a human's body so there's that 😂

lol recently on bubble lee know purposely left out seungmin's name when a stay asked who he went to the museum with and then another stay basically asked why he did that and he said it's a concept. so they def still play up on the whole divorced couple concept lol. but i'll always remember lee know talking about how seungmin was the first person he met and talked to when coming to jyp and appreciative he was of him 🥺 but yes lee know loves to tease and you can tell how much he loves to tease seungmin 😭 and he did say that when he likes someone he likes to tease them.

Love compilations so much .I think you cracked Lee Know's code a little bit but I also think that his true personality is like he acts because I have a friend exactly like him ,he teases ,flirt,quarrel and prank everybody and that is his way of showing love❤️.I think Chan is an amazing judge of character because how he chose everyone of them and made the perfect FAMILY of talented and wholesome human beings.I am always in awe of how well they fit together,how much they care ,hype each other and the inconditional and pure love they share . When I think of Lee know and seungmins relationship, I’m always reminded of how seungmin took it the hardest when Lee know was eliminated on the survival show. I really believe they’ve shared a strong bond that wasn’t really shown to the public and when the divorced couple skit came out they just played into it because to the fans, it seemed like Lee know was closer to Han. Even in the 9th, Lee know picked seungmin as the person he’s most appreciative of (even though he joked he picked him cus he cried the most when he was eliminated)
