There was a whole thing about accusing SME of creating a scandal to cover up the exo members leaving, those accusations led to fans boycotting baekhyun, and welp, there has been a member of superjunior in the past who was also boycotted into leaving the activities of the group coz he got married all of a sudden blah blah tldr; baekhyun has bad memories with having a "public" relationship

2023-03-10 07:06:06 +0000 UTCI mean a lot of SM's artists and whatnot, their songs/lyrics are written by other producers and lyricists, and a lot of the time, they're singing those creator's songs/stories as for baekhyun, he probs wont outright sing about any love interest for a while still lol ever since the last time he had a whole scandal and whatnot, i doubt he wants to be bombarded with hate again
