I am so sorry for all the random googling throughout, but I just really want to get to know the members and want to stop being confused by who is who haha!!
This was extremely wholesome and the conversation with Seungkwan and Dino was SO wholesome!!! After posting I searched again and Seungkwan is only 1 year older than Dino but speaks to Dino like he is years younger hahahaha

I always just call The8 Hao short for Minghao, I also call S.Coups Cheol short for Seungcheol and I do call Joshua Shua because it just sounds so cute.

He won the Rookie Award at the MBC Entertainment Awards for his work in these. Last year he won Male Idol Entertainer at Korea First Brands. Since 2018 he's been a cast member on a handful of other shows outside of Seventeen's content as well as multiple guest appearances. Many peoples parents or grandparents would possibly recognize him and not know who seventeen is. Which is why he is one of those with that title. I think more of them could be considered the face of now though because of all the new promotions. Still Seungkwan has been promoting the group from day 1. He never goes out and is just Seungkwan, it's always, hello, I'm Seungkwan from seventeen etc etc. I hated that he had to go to work while they did this. He's super responsible in this way and even though he's one of the youngest, I think this is why he gets treated with more respect. Also DK might be considered a face now, he's been acting as Arthur in Excaliber the Broadway musical for 2 years. Mingyu has been a brand ambassador. Also wanted to add from the last video that every member has a special relationship with every member. Seungkwan and Dino share a love hate relationship with us on Going Seventeen though we know they are close. So you can imagine how extra special this particular scene was for Carats. Also some of these guys have best friends but old roommates and Some are friends due to age. There is a video with every pairing that is really sweet. These guys even marry each other and go on dates. They are a big family with those kind of connections

2022-05-22 21:18:13 +0000 UTCi think dino got that trauma from people judging him after witnessing how he could be sarcastic and playfully rude to the members during their early years when they were playfully bickering during shows. since they were just rookies and hes the maknae, i think he got a lot of hate for it, which can be scarring for such a young kid. im glad he can let himself loose now and he really mostly carries going seventeen with dk, seungkwan, and hoshi.

2022-05-22 18:26:43 +0000 UTCas a carat who has been a fan since svt's nugu days (given that their company was bankrupt and is not part of the big three), seungkwan is someone who i consider one of the major reasons why svt gained domestic popularity (aside from gose, self-producing idol title, and synchronization kings). since idols are usually not regarded as someone high/respectable in korea due to the "manufactured training" stigma, its seldom that people would actually know idol groups let alone them charting in melon and other streaming platforms. during debut and svt's early years, seungkwan ventured more to the entertainment industry alone and worked his goddamn best during variety shows. he is very funny, witty, and just entertaining (he even won an entertainer award by himself). through this, he manages to promote svt by singing their songs (hes also the main vocalist) and do talents or impressions in shows where he would guest w/o his members. he became the one of the "face of the group" members since many people (esp non kpop fans) would know him despite not knowing anything abt svt. i would like to think that seungkwan really was able to open the gate for the other members in the k-industry.

2022-05-22 18:19:46 +0000 UTCjeonghan is calm at times bcus he couldnt be bothered in games since he wins all of them. he is actually competitive and the game master. he is very very lucky and smart/cunning (he excels in mind games and sports). theres actually a going seventeen episode (gose one million won) dedicated to him wherein it was svt vs yoon jeonghan since the members rlly want to beat him just once. idk if its just me but he reminds me of lee know very much.

I recognised who they were by faces (ig being korean helps lmao) but while reading comments I literally thought Chan and Dino were different person when it was just his stage & real name. So here are the Stage/real name: S.Coups/Seungcheol, Jeonghan/Jeonghan, Joshua/Jisoo (also joshua), Jun/Junhui, Hoshi/Soonyoung, Wonwoo/Wonwoo, Woozi/Jihoon, The8/Minghao(or Myungho korean way of saying), Mingyu/Mingyu, DK(Dokyum)/Seokmin, Seongkwan/Seungkwan, Vernon/Hansol(or vernon), Dino/Chan. Btw, face of the group is someone who has the most impression from non-kpop community often being seen as the most active one regarding their promotions and variety shows. And can you believe that Mingyu, DK, Minghao and Jungkook (they are friends) is the same age as Bang Chan of skz xd
