Chapter 330: Facing Team Lucy 6

Ice shards struck the ground, creating a cold mist that enveloped the area. Lucy summoned the roots of trees from the ground, wrapping them around the feet of her unsuspecting enemies. She even conjured several elements in the air, creating fire, wind, and lightning—every form of element was manipulated by Lucy.

However, Lucy's sharp and confident eyes began to narrow. Her eyelids felt heavy, and her breath came out rough and ragged. Lucy didn’t complain or say anything, but her shoulders began to droop slowly.

Every element Lucy created drained her energy. Imagination was indeed Lucy's greatest limit—but not her only one. Her body began to scream, resisting the burden of power that was being forced upon her.

Annie observed this from a distance. Annie's sharp eyes focused on the opposing leader, who was starting to waver. Raising her hand, Annie shouted loudly, "Yuna!"

Yuna immediately reacted. Taking a deep breath, she raised both hands into the air. A pale blue light burst from Yuna's body, enveloping the entire team like a glowing mist. Yuna's eyes shone brightly.

"Strengthen!"

The light flowed into the bodies of each member of Team Annie, making them stand taller, their minor wounds healing instantly. Their muscles tightened, and their spirits ignited like embers doused in gasoline.

Jae Hyun's body now appeared more robust, and he shot towards Maximus. The ground cracked as Jae Hyun landed, a gust of wind following each of his steps. As Jae Hyun jumped high, his shadow passed over Maximus's head like a giant bat. Jae Hyun's large axe spun in the air before swinging down with terrifying speed.

Maximus, caught off guard by such a swift attack, quickly crossed his arms, trying to form a makeshift defense. His arms formed an X in front of his chest.

“BRAAKK!”

The axe struck, and the sound of cracking bones was unmistakable.

"AAARGHHHH!!"

Blood gushed from Maximus's shoulder. His left arm was severed, thrown away and crashing against a tree trunk with a disgusting thud. Maximus's face turned pale, his eyes wide with shock and excruciating pain. His mouth opened, trembling, but he couldn't utter a word. Maximus's breath caught in his throat.

Jae Hyun raised his axe again. His face was flat, like a killing machine. There was no mercy.

Maximus staggered back. But—bang!—a hard blow struck Maximus's back. His body was thrown forward, directly into Jae Hyun's range.

SWOOSH!

Maximus's head spun, and then his body fell motionless. Blood pooled quickly, soaking into the ground.

On the other side, Cynthia positioned herself atop a fallen tree. She drew three arrows simultaneously and released them in a quick shot. The arrows shot forth like falling stars.

Mirae, with her magic rifle, fired protective bullets that exploded in the air, creating an energy barrier to deflect Cynthia's arrows. The sound of small explosions rang out repeatedly like war firecrackers.

Meanwhile, William faced Goujiro. William's sword was like a shadow, invisible, only the sound of wind was heard as he slashed. Although Goujiro's body was as hard as steel thanks to his transformation ability, he still struggled to withstand the blows. Goujiro's face began to pale, blood dripping from the small wounds now adorning his body.

Harl then joined in. A blood-red aura enveloped Harl's body, and his speed increased dramatically. Harl's spear shot straight towards Goujiro's chest—piercing, striking, scraping. Goujiro stepped back once, then twice. His defense was slowly crumbling.

On the other side, Oliv and Jae Hyun surrounded Ai Lin. As Ai Lin threw blades of wind with her silver fan, Jae Hyun cut through them with his axe. Oliv approached like a shadow, his knife glinting in the mist. Ai Lin smirked, but sweat began to trickle down her temples.
