TPMITWON Chapter 38: The Name of the Third Kazekage

"However, a great man named Reto emerged and united the villages under one banner. He is our first Kazekage."

Some students listened with great interest, their eyes sparkling as they imagined the figure of the mighty Reto standing in the midst of a sandstorm, leading his people to glory. However, for Souta, this was just an old story he already knew.

What caught Souta's attention was the figure of the third Kazekage.

During the new student welcome ceremony, Souta had seen the man standing on stage with a cold and authoritative gaze. Now, from this lesson, Souta finally learned his name—Satetsu. The name immediately reminded Souta of his signature technique, Iron Sand.

Souta rubbed his chin, thinking about something. The history in this world might have some differences compared to what Souta knew. Perhaps there was information not shown in the anime or manga, and this was an opportunity for Souta to learn more deeply.

Thursday arrived, bringing with it the lesson Souta had been looking forward to the most—an introduction to chakra.

Souta's eyes sparkled a little as the teacher began to explain about this energy. "Chakra is the resource that flows within our bodies, connecting the physical and spiritual," the teacher said in a calm voice. "Without chakra, a ninja would not be able to fight well."

Souta listened intently, noting every detail he deemed important. He knew that in this world, chakra was everything. Just like gasoline for vehicles or electricity for machines in Souta's old world, chakra was the main energy source that determined how strong someone could become.

On Friday, the lesson shifted to physical training.

Souta stood on the academy field with the other students, his body slightly tense as he heard the teacher's instructions. Today's exercise? Tag.

The children immediately ran in all directions as soon as the whistle blew, laughter and shouts filling the air. Some of the more agile kids moved swiftly, evading their pursuers with quick movements, while others stumbled and fell into the sand.

Souta, though not overly enthusiastic, ran at a controlled speed. He didn't want to stand out too much, but he also didn't want to be left behind. This exercise seemed like a game, but its benefits were clear—improving endurance and agility.

Saturday arrived, bringing more serious physical training.

Souta stood on one leg, balancing his body as instructed by the teacher. The desert wind blew gently, causing some students to lose their balance and wobble. However, Souta remained still, his body as solid as a rock.

After that, they began practicing walking in a straight line, then doing planks with both hands to strengthen their core. The muscles in Souta's abdomen and arms began to feel warm, but he persevered.

The next exercises included jumping rope, throwing and catching a ball to improve coordination, and walking backward and sideways to train overall body control.

After a full day of training, Saturday finally came to an end. However, for Souta, the training was not over.

Sunday was a day off, but Souta had no intention of spending it relaxing. While other students might enjoy their free time playing or resting, Souta stood beside the wall of his house, his gaze filled with determination.

Souta took a deep breath, then channeled chakra into the soles of his feet, placing one foot against the wall.

One step. Two steps. Three steps...

However, before Souta could hold on for an hour, his foot lost its grip, and his body fell straight down. Dust flew as Souta landed on his backside.

Souta winced but did not complain. He then got up, brushed off his clothes, and prepared to try again.

In this world, no one could survive by just relaxing. If Souta wanted to become stronger, he had to keep training.

No matter how many times Souta fell, he would always get back up. That was Souta's determination.
