Chapter 311: The Five Victims of Haruto
Added 2025-03-02 12:00:52 +0000 UTCHaruto is not an ordinary participant. From the very beginning of the event, Haruto has proven himself to be a threat that cannot be underestimated. Five students have been eliminated simply by dealing with Haruto.
The first victim was a man who was initially quite confident. He was running through the forest when a wolf appeared and chased him fiercely. The man's breath was ragged, and his heart raced in panic.
At that moment, Haruto, appearing calm, threw something at him—a strange, ball-shaped plant. When the plant burst, fine powder scattered into the air. The man inhaled it accidentally, and within seconds, his body began to weaken. A harsh cough shook his body before he finally collapsed to the ground, losing consciousness.
The second victim was a girl with a confident expression. She spotted a narrow gap beneath the roots of an old tree, where a rare purple plant was growing. Carefully, she reached her hand in, trying to grasp the plant.
However, before her hand could touch the plant, something cold wrapped around her wrist. The girl gasped, her eyes widening as she saw a large snake slowly slithering up her arm.
Panicking, she tried to pull her hand back, but the snake's grip tightened. Her breath became heavier as the snake began to coil around her body. At that moment, Haruto emerged from the bushes, grabbed a branch, and without hesitation, threw the end at the girl's back. Her body immediately went limp, losing consciousness.
The third victim fared worse. The girl injured her ankle after tripping over the roots of a large tree. As she groaned in pain, sitting breathlessly on the ground while trying to calm herself, she spotted Haruto standing not far away. Her face filled with hope as she raised her hand, trying to ask for help.
However, what she received was not a helping hand. Haruto merely stared at her with a flat expression before stepping closer. With a swift movement and without warning, Haruto punched the girl in the neck. Instantly, her consciousness faded away.
The fourth victim was actually quite clever. He knew that Haruto was a dangerous person, and from the start, he chose to be cautious. However, despite being careful, he still found himself trapped in a dangerous situation.
The man's right hand was sucked into a hand-eating tree—a dangerous plant creature that attacked anyone who got too close. He tried to pull his hand back, but the more he struggled, the stronger the tree's grip became. Eventually, he was forced to call for help.
Haruto approached. There was a glimmer of hope in the man's eyes, but before he could say anything else, Haruto lightly struck the man's back. The effect was enough to make him lose consciousness.
The fifth victim was a girl who had the worst fate of all.
While trying to cross a rocky terrain, she lost her balance and slipped. Her body fell into a small ravine, hitting the ground hard. Her breath was ragged, and pain coursed through her body.
As she was still trying to gather her strength to get up, Haruto was already standing over her. Haruto's face showed no sympathy whatsoever. Without a word, he bent down, raised his arm, and punched the girl in the stomach. One punch was enough to knock her out.
All the failed participants were soon transported to the City Academy Stadium via teleportation devices. Their injuries would not be fatal, but this incident would be an experience they would not forget.
