TPMITWON Chapter 11: Awakening in the Village of Sunagakure

In a small, quiet room, a boy lay on a bed. There was no sound except for the gentle rustle of the wind coming through the small window, carrying fine grains of sand that fell onto the floor.

Morning sunlight crept in, illuminating the fine dust floating in the air, creating a scene that was almost like an illusion.

The room felt slightly hot and dry. It was almost entirely made of sand that had been compacted into a sturdy structure. The walls were brownish with a rough texture, and the ceiling was similar, with small cracks visible in several places.

The floor was also made of sand, giving a slightly dusty sensation even though it had been compacted. Even the bed the boy was sleeping on was not made of wood or metal, but rather sand that had been hardened to resemble a platform, covered only with a thin layer of fabric as a bedding.

Not just this room, but the entire building, even the whole village, was made of sand. A dry and barren village, where life depended on the scarce resources available.

The boy appeared to be sleeping soundly, his breathing regular, his small body covered by a thin cloth that served more to protect against dust than to warm him.

The boy's short, dark blue hair looked messy, with a few strands sticking to his forehead, slightly sweaty from the heat in the room.

The boy's eyes began to move, his eyelids twitching slightly, indicating that he was starting to awaken from his deep sleep.

Slowly, the boy let out a soft groan, his body stretching lazily before finally opening his eyes a little. The bright light pierced into his pupils, causing him to blink several times to adjust to the morning light.

"Uhm... Where is this..." the boy mumbled in a hoarse voice, half-conscious. His vision was still blurry as he looked around, trying to understand the situation.

As the boy's awareness fully returned, his expression changed immediately. He let out a long sigh, then stared at the rough ceiling above with a vacant look.

"Ah! Sunagakure..." the boy said in a tone full of despair. He sat up on the bed, raising both hands to rub his face, which still felt sleepy. "Damn... So this... isn't a dream, huh."

He—Souta—paused for a moment, allowing his still chaotic thoughts to slowly merge with reality. A nostalgic smile appeared on Souta's face, a mix of resignation and old memories that suddenly surged in his mind.

In his previous life, Souta was an orphan. Since childhood, his life had always been full of hardships. Souta grew up without parents, without family, relying only on himself. The world felt cruel to Souta, especially because of his nature, which was closed off and struggled to communicate with others.

Souta didn't have many friends. His social relationships were very poor, often leaving him isolated. However, Souta was not the type to give up on his circumstances. He studied hard, built a strong determination, and eventually dared to take risks.

After graduating from school, with great courage, Souta applied for a loan from the bank and established a robotics company. It was a significant step in Souta's life—a step that ultimately led him to success.

However, that success was short-lived. An accident at Souta's company, an explosion that occurred in the main laboratory, ended Souta's life in an instant.

But Souta did not regret his death. There was no family to mourn for him. He had also prepared everything, including leaving a small legacy for the only friend who had helped him greatly during his difficult times.
