As the Captain of the Special Police Task Force, Ameliana's duty was not only to combat crime but also to protect civilians. Their safety and well-being were Ameliana's top priorities. But now? Now, many people had lost their homes. Many had lost their livelihoods.
And all of that was due to the reckless actions of the Anbu.
Ameliana knew their intentions were good—to show the world how dangerous the Soul Collector group was. But still, Ameliana could not accept their methods.
Now, it was not just the members of the Soul Collector who were fleeing, but also the trust of the citizens in the police and the security system.
Sure, Ameliana had managed to kill one of the Captains and the Vice Captain of that organization, but was that enough? No.
There were still many who had escaped. There were still many lurking out there, waiting for the opportunity to return.
And that meant… This was not over.
Ameliana took a deep breath. She needed to act quickly before everything got worse.

The night sky over Fortress City 085 was filled with the lights from tall buildings, creating a serene yet intriguing view. In a spacious room in one of the tallest towers of the city, a man sat casually behind a large, polished mahogany desk.
The man was Aberto Robert, one of the Ten Members of the Government Council of Fortress City 085.
In a neatly tailored black suit, Aberto looked like a high-class businessman—but those who knew him better understood that Aberto was not an ordinary person. Behind Aberto's thin, meaningful smile lay a sharp intellect and a habit of observing the world from behind the scenes.
Aberto's eyes gazed out the large window overlooking the city. However, his thoughts were not there. Aberto was waiting for something.
“Klek.”
The door to the room opened quietly, without haste. A woman with graceful steps entered, wearing a dark gray formal suit. Her black hair was neatly tied back, giving a professional impression.
The woman stood before Aberto, then calmly placed several files on the desk.
“Sir, these are all the reports regarding what has happened in the Southern District,” the woman said in a flat, professional tone.
Aberto leaned back in his chair, his hands folded in front of his chest. With a relaxed expression, Aberto glanced at the files without opening them immediately.
“Anbu... An interesting group of people,” Aberto murmured, then the corners of his mouth curved into a cold smile. “But... Soul Collector?”
Aberto's voice shifted to a tone filled with disdain. “This group of rats dares to cause a big problem in my territory?”
Aberto's tone sounded lower, more dangerous. Although Aberto rarely showed his emotions, everyone knew that when he began to speak like this, someone might soon disappear from the city without a trace.
The woman stood tall, her expression unchanged. She knew well that Aberto did not appreciate disruptions to the stability of Fortress City 085, especially concerning the Dark Market.
“From the reports we received, it is likely that they initially planned to blow up the city gates, allowing Dead and Horror to enter Fortress City 085 to create chaos.”
The woman paused for a moment, letting the information sink in before continuing.
“However, their plan was uncovered by the Anbu. In response, the Anbu blew up their headquarters. We also did not expect that the Southern District was hiding such a large secret facility. The place was much bigger and more extensive than previously estimated.”
Aberto let out a slow sigh, his eyes still fixed on the city in the distance.
“What is the response from the other members of the Government Council?” Aberto asked with a tone full of interest.
