Sakura smiled gently and affectionately ruffled Kyoko's hair. "Of course. Mr. Haruto has given orders to ensure you are comfortable here. If you need anything, just let me know."
Meanwhile, Kakashi stood quietly behind them, observing with an unreadable expression.
"Sister Sakura! Why can't we go to the third floor?" Kyoko asked with a wide smile and an innocent face full of curiosity.
Kaori immediately felt anxious. She hurriedly wanted to explain to her daughter not to ask too many questions, but before she could, Sakura had already answered.
"Because the third floor is currently under renovation. That's why no one is allowed up there. Do you understand?" Sakura explained softly, trying not to make Kyoko feel guilty.
"Is that so? I understand!" Kyoko replied, nodding her head with an adorable thin smile.
Sakura smiled slightly at Kyoko's reaction. "Good. Now, which room do you want to choose?" Sakura asked, trying to divert her attention.
"Umm... I'll take the one on the right!" Kyoko pointed excitedly at the room on the right.
"Alright, let's go take a look at the room." Sakura led the way, followed by an enthusiastic Kyoko. Kaori, who finally felt relieved, followed them from behind. Kakashi, who had been silent, also walked behind them with a calm stride.
Sakura opened the door to the room Kyoko had chosen, revealing a simple yet warm space. The decor was feminine, with soft tones suitable for women of all ages. Yellow curtains hung at the window, and a bed covered with small floral sheets looked inviting.
"Can I really stay in this room?" Kyoko asked, her face beaming with a bright smile.
"Of course. What do you think? Beautiful, right?" Sakura replied while carefully placing Kyoko's belongings on the bed.
The room was equipped with a small wardrobe in the corner, a study desk and chair, and a large bed that looked comfortable. Everything was neatly arranged, giving a clean and well-maintained impression.
"This place is very clean..." Kaori murmured softly, almost as if speaking to herself.
Sakura, hearing the murmur, smiled wryly and said casually, "Of course. We cleaned this room beforehand."
Kaori caught the casual tone in Sakura's voice, and suddenly fell silent. Mixed feelings crossed Kaori's mind, between gratitude and a bit of embarrassment for having troubled them at this moment.
"By the way, do you both work for Mr.—" Kaori paused, realizing she almost referred to Haruto as 'Young Master Haruto,' as she did when she worked for the Sato family. She quickly corrected herself, "... for that man?"
Sakura noticed the change in Kaori's tone, her eyes narrowing slightly as if analyzing, before finally smiling faintly. "... Yes, we work for Mr. Haruto," Sakura replied, her tone remaining calm.
"Is that so... How long have you been working for that man? What is he like?" Kaori asked cautiously, weighing her words.
Sakura paused for a moment, appearing to think of the right answer. "... Mr. Haruto... is nice? Quite nice, I suppose..." Sakura replied with a slightly hesitant tone, shrugging her shoulders a little.
"Is that so..." Kaori nodded slowly, then fell silent. There was something in Kaori's gaze, perhaps doubt, perhaps curiosity that had not been fully answered.
"By the way, please follow me to see the next room," Sakura said, looking at Kaori with a friendly professional smile.
