ASFUCITWON Chapter 70: Seeing Father and Mother Embarrassed
Added 2024-12-22 12:26:04 +0000 UTCAfter the atmosphere calmed down a bit, Karina lifted her gaze towards her parents.
With a soft yet meaningful tone, Karina said, "Father, Mother... This is a gift for your wedding anniversary."
Karina took a small red box from behind her chair. "I know you both always celebrate your wedding anniversary every year, but you’ve never celebrated your own birthdays."
"Kushina and I realized that, all this time, we’ve never given you a birthday gift. Yet, you always make sure our anniversaries are celebrated with love."
Karina lowered her head for a moment, then continued with a slightly trembling voice, "That’s why I want to give this to you. Not just as an anniversary gift, but also to celebrate you both as amazing parents."
Carefully, Karina opened the small box.
Inside was a pair of very beautiful rings.
The metal shimmered softly, while the small gemstone in the center was a bright red, like fire, symbolizing eternal love.
Kasumi covered her mouth with her hand, surprised and touched.
Keito could only stare at the rings with wide eyes, amazed by their beauty.
The two exchanged a glance, then turned back to look at Karina and Kushina with smiles full of warmth.
"Karina, where did you get a pair of rings like this?" Kasumi asked, her voice trembling.
Kasumi's eyes widened in surprise upon seeing the beauty of the rings her little daughter, Karina, had given them.
"Well... I sketched these rings, and Uncle Zuto made them, while Reiji added some Fuinjutsu and a few special details to the rings," Karina replied, her face a bit hesitant, as if feeling shy about revealing the story behind the rings.
"Is this really from your sketch?" Keito asked in a barely audible voice, his eyes unable to tear away from the stunning pair of rings.
The beauty of the rings was so striking that Keito couldn’t believe that his little daughter had created the design for such magnificent rings.
The rings shimmered beautifully, with intricate designs and gemstones that glowed softly under the light.
Keito couldn’t hide his admiration, and even though in their world wedding rings weren’t common, he knew that such rings would be something incredibly precious, capable of leaving anyone who saw them in awe.
Many people would be willing to spend a lot of money for a pair of rings as beautiful as this.
That’s why Keito couldn’t help but ask, wanting to confirm if these rings truly came from Karina’s sketch.
"Yes, it’s my sketch," Karina answered, slightly embarrassed, "though... It seems like Reiji improved my sketch and made it so beautiful..."
Hearing this explanation, Keito and Kasumi exchanged looks, a soft smile forming on their faces.
They could feel just how much love and effort Karina had put into this for them.
"Well, thank you, Karina," Keito said, his voice filled with gratitude.
Keito carefully took the ring box and slowly took out the pair of rings from inside.
Keito gazed at the rings one more time before, with love, placing one of the rings on Kasumi's right pinky finger.
Seeing this, Kasumi’s cheeks unknowingly turned red.
Kasumi’s face flushed with embarrassment, and her eyes, slightly sparkling, looked at the ring now adorning her finger.
"Wow...!" Kushina and Karina exclaimed almost simultaneously, both little girls surprised by the scene unfolding before them.
They hadn’t expected to see their mother, Kasumi, blush like that.
Keito intended to place the other ring on his own finger, but Kasumi, with a gentle motion, stopped his hand.
