ASFUCITWON Chapter 66: Can You Help Make a Ring?

"Hehehe... Uncle, I want to ask for your help! This is my friend, Reiji! We’d like your assistance with something!" Karina said, pointing excitedly at Reiji, her eyes sparkling with hope.

Reiji, feeling a bit awkward with all the attention on him, offered a faint smile.

"Uh... Hello, sir. My name is Reiji. Could you help us make a pair of rings?" Reiji asked calmly, though his tone carried a hint of hope.

"Of course! Who are the rings for?" Zuto asked, his wide smile showing he was happy to help.

"They’re for my mom and dad’s wedding anniversary!" Karina replied with a broad grin, her eyes glowing with joy.

"Is that so... In that case, don’t worry! I’ll make the best pair of rings I possibly can!" Zuto declared proudly, clearly flattered by the request.

"Thank you so much, Uncle!" Karina said with a beaming smile, her face radiant with gratitude.

"Excuse me, sir, please use all of these as materials for crafting the rings," Reiji said as he handed over a variety of items he had brought.

Zuto was taken aback by the assortment Reiji presented.

Fangs, claws, bones from various creatures, and even some peculiar stones that looked extraordinary.

Zuto’s eyes widened in disbelief.

"This...?" Zuto stared in astonishment, then turned to Reiji with a look of shock. "Are you that person? The genius who’s created so many unique items?"

Reiji felt a bit embarrassed by the compliment. Although he often considered himself a genius, hearing such praise from others left him slightly flustered.

"Uh... Yes, that’s correct," Reiji replied, his voice tinged with hesitation.

Zuto’s grin widened, clearly thrilled to meet someone so renowned.

"I see... It’s an honor to meet you, kid! I’ve been wanting to meet you for a long time. Every time you invent something new, Keito always assigns me the task of crafting it."

"Seeing these strange and fascinating materials always excites me! Will this time’s creation also turn out to be some kind of magical artifact?" Zuto asked, his eyes gleaming with curiosity.

"Yes, something like that..." Reiji responded with a faint smile and a nod.

"Haha! In that case, I’ll do my best to craft this pair of rings!" Zuto exclaimed enthusiastically, his energy evident.

"Thank you. I truly appreciate your help," Reiji said, bowing his head slightly in gratitude.

However, Zuto’s gaze returned to the materials Reiji had brought, his expression suddenly growing serious.

"But..." Zuto began, his eyes carefully examining the items.

"What’s wrong, Uncle?" Karina asked, her face showing concern at Zuto’s sudden change in demeanor.

"The materials you’ve brought are far too plentiful. Even after crafting a pair of rings, there will still be a significant amount left," Zuto said thoughtfully, trying to calculate what could be done with the excess materials.

Reiji smiled casually, as if he had expected the question. "In that case, could you also make a pair of earrings for a woman, a bracelet, and a necklace? Will there still be anything left after that?"

Zuto was startled by Reiji’s increasing requests but paused to consider them.

"No, if I craft all of those, there won’t be any materials left! But didn’t you say you only needed a pair of rings?" Zuto asked, his curiosity piqued as he sought clarification.

"The earrings are for Aunt Kasumi. The bracelet and necklace will be gifts for Karina and Kushina. After all, I missed their birthdays last time," Reiji explained casually, seemingly unbothered by Karina standing beside him, listening with a joyful smile.

Indeed, during Karina and Kushina’s last birthdays, Reiji had been too preoccupied with various matters to give them gifts.
