F/VoH Ch 140: The Agreement Was Successful

Ryan doesn't often show such concern, even in the most subtle forms. Cheonghee smiled widely, her expression cheerful. "Alright. See you again, Ryan."

Cheonghee turned and disappeared into the shadows of the trees, like a shadow that vanished without a trace.

Ryan continued his journey with steady steps, now alone. He knew there was still much to be done, but for now, his priority was to return to the inn. However, before that, Ryan paused in the middle of the road, looking around to ensure no one was following him.

With a smooth hand gesture, Ryan opened the Reality Marble, the space where he kept all his equipment. He began to release various support items that he had previously used for fighting, then stored them back into that dimension. The items shimmered faintly before disappearing in a soft blue light.

Once everything was done, Ryan closed the Reality Marble and continued his journey to the inn. On the way, Ryan stopped by a small shop on the roadside. The aroma of freshly cooked food tickled Ryan's nose, prompting him to decide to buy some snacks. Not much, just enough to accompany his long night.

After finishing his shopping, Ryan finally arrived at the inn. The sky outside was starting to darken, and the small lights along the road illuminated his calm steps. Inside the inn, a warm atmosphere welcomed Ryan—the sound of the door, the aroma of tea, and the faint voices of a few people chatting.

As soon as he arrived at the inn, Ryan headed straight to the room where Ellina and Charlotte were. Without much ado, Ryan knocked on the door once before opening it. Inside, the atmosphere felt calm, with candlelight casting a warm glow and the gentle aroma of herbal tea filling the air.

Ryan found Ellina and Charlotte already waiting, sitting in small chairs facing the bed. However, Ryan's attention was immediately drawn to another figure in the corner of the room. Rosseline, a journalist from the Allen Empire, was also there, seemingly jotting something down in a leather notebook.

"You've returned, Young Master Ryan," Ellina greeted gracefully, her voice soft as usual. However, there was a hint of relief reflected in Ellina's eyes.

"Yes, I'm back," Ryan replied briefly, nodding his head. His gaze remained calm, showing almost no emotion.

Charlotte, who was standing near Ellina, tilted her head slightly. "How was it, Master? Is everything alright?" Charlotte asked, a note of concern implied in her voice.

"Everything is fine," Ryan replied casually, before slowly raising his hand. In an instant, the space around them began to spin. Dense white light enveloped all corners, completely erasing the atmosphere of the room.

In a few seconds, the four of them stood in an endless white space—Reality Marble, Ryan's personal dimension.

Ryan folded his arms across his chest, looking at the three women calmly. "The agreement was successful," Ryan said, his voice steady and without doubt. "Cheonghee has agreed to cooperate. Now, we just need to wait. In a few days, we will move to the capital of the Kingdom. There, we will gather information, map the entire region, and devise a plan to kill the heroes, as well as the King."

Ellina furrowed her brow for a moment, seeming to think about something. "So that's it... But is it really necessary to wait for several days?" Ellina asked softly, her confused tone making the atmosphere a bit tense.

Ryan nodded slowly. "Yes, we need to wait. First, you need to recover. Second, we need to ensure that the leader of the rebel forces and Cheonghee finish their business. When that time comes, we will move immediately."

Rosseline, standing at the edge, looked uncomfortable. Her fingers clenched the notebook she was holding, while her gaze could not hide her disbelief.
