F/VoH Ch 137: Extraordinary Plan

Where Amanda did not expect that Ryan and his group had such a detailed plan. At first, Amanda was doubtful whether they could really help with this rebellion. However, after hearing Cheonghee's explanation, her doubts slowly faded.

Amanda's expression changed. From fear and confusion, it gradually transformed into confidence. Amanda's lips curved into a thin smile. "Your plan... is extraordinary," Amanda said in a low voice, but filled with admiration.

Cheonghee smiled with satisfaction. "Of course. We don't do things halfway. If we're going to overthrow a kingdom, we will make sure it succeeds perfectly," Cheonghee said while glancing at Ryan, who remained silent, watching with a sharp gaze.

Ryan finally spoke up, his tone flat yet authoritative. "We don't care how strong the Polons Kingdom is. We only care about the results. So, if you're ready to cooperate, Amanda, we will begin."

Amanda nodded firmly. "I'm ready. With your help, I'm sure we can do this."

Ryan nodded once, then stepped forward towards Amanda. "Good. Then let's start with the first step. Give us all the information you have about the strengths and weaknesses of this kingdom. From there, we will begin to build a strategy."

Amanda took a deep breath before starting. "Alright, I will explain everything," Amanda said in a serious tone. Her voice echoed in the forest, which was only illuminated by dim light. Amanda's eyes shifted from Ryan to Cheonghee, then to Arash, as if ensuring that everyone was ready to listen.

Amanda started from the basics, explaining the ins and outs of the Polons Kingdom in a measured tone. Every word that came from Amanda revealed the cruelty inflicted by the King, the Royal Family, and the nobles. They were not only greedy but also brutal, treating their people like chess pieces that could be destroyed at any moment.

"Initially, the Polons Kingdom had a bad reputation," Amanda said, her voice slightly trembling as she entered the most painful part of her explanation. "However, after the Heroes were summoned from another world—from Earth, to be precise—the kingdom became much darker. Those Heroes, who were supposed to bring hope, instead became instruments of destruction twisted by the ambitions of the rulers."

Ryan sat with a rigid posture, his face flat like a mask devoid of emotion. Ryan's sharp yet empty eyes did not leave Amanda for a second, making it difficult for her to guess what Ryan was really thinking.

On the other hand, Cheonghee remained calm, occasionally nodding slightly to show that he was paying attention, but not saying a word. Cheonghee's aura of calm felt like an impenetrable shield, making Amanda feel a bit more comfortable even though the atmosphere in the room felt increasingly heavy.

Arash, who had initially sat with his arms crossed, began to show signs of emotion. Arash's jaw tightened, and his hands clenched on the table, as if trying to hold back the surge of anger that was slowly burning him from within. As a soldier who dedicated his life to protecting the weak, hearing about this brutality stirred Arash's heart. However, Arash remained calm, restraining himself from expressing his emotions.

As Amanda continued, she occasionally glanced at Ryan. Ryan's indifferent demeanor disturbed Amanda. How could someone remain so cold upon hearing all this evil? How could Ryan not react at all? Even Cheonghee, with his calmness, showed a bit of empathy through his gentle gaze. Yet, Ryan remained like a statue—unmoved and almost lifeless.

After what felt like an eternity, Amanda finally concluded her explanation. The sound of Amanda's footsteps echoed in the room as she stepped back slightly, letting the words hang in the air.

"So, what will we do from now on?" Amanda asked, her face full of curiosity.
