F/VoH Ch 136: Amanda Speechless

Ryan let out a long sigh, staring at Cheonghee with a flat expression. “Haah... Cheonghee, stop it. We have more important things to discuss. Besides, aren’t you embarrassed to talk about that around other people?” Ryan asked in a calm tone, though it was clear he was annoyed.

Cheonghee just chuckled softly again, as if she enjoyed Ryan's flat reaction. “Alright, I get it,” Ryan said, raising his hand in a mock surrender. Then, Cheonghee turned to Amanda.

“By the way, this is Amanda, the leader of the Rebel Forces you’ve been looking for,” Amanda said, gesturing towards the woman beside her.

Cheonghee then turned back and pointed at Ryan with a teasing look. “And this... is our little cold and heartless man, Ryan. Although he looks like a cold-blooded killer, Ryan is actually a good person, you know? Even...” Cheonghee's smile widened. “In bed, Ryan can be quite passionate.”

Those words made Amanda cough softly, her eyes widening for a moment before she tried to hide her embarrassment. Amanda stole a glance at Ryan, who remained standing still like a statue. Only Ryan's gaze shifted slightly, sharpening towards Cheonghee.

Arash, on the other hand, couldn’t help but smile widely. He glanced at Ryan briefly, feeling this was a rare bit of entertainment. However, Ryan didn’t react further. His expression remained flat, though there was a flash of impatience in his eyes.

“So, who is the man next to Ryan?” Cheonghee asked, glancing at Arash. A teasing smile was still painted on Cheonghee's face, as usual.

Arash, who had been observing the conversation without saying much, stepped forward confidently. “My name is Arash! Nice to meet you both. I am the Servant of Master Ryan,” Arash said, bowing slightly with a confident smile, like a knight introducing himself to a king.

Cheonghee raised an eyebrow, looking a bit surprised by Arash's formal way of speaking, but she didn’t say anything.

Ryan, on the other hand, looked impatient. His expression remained flat, but his gaze sharpened slightly towards Cheonghee. “Can you stop teasing? We’re here to discuss something important,” Ryan said in a cold tone.

Cheonghee covered her mouth with her hand, pretending to cough lightly. “Ahem! Ahem! Alright, esteemed Master Ryan,” Cheonghee replied playfully before finally nodding. “Let’s start this serious conversation.”

In an instant, the atmosphere changed. The previous jokes and teasing disappeared, replaced by seriousness. Cheonghee stood tall, her gaze now full of determination. She looked at Amanda, the rebel leader, and began to speak in a heavier, more authoritative tone.

“Amanda, we will help you overthrow the Polons Kingdom government. Our assistance will include several things. First, we will provide the necessary information network to map out the enemy's strengths, including finding evidence that can destroy the King’s reputation.”

“Second, we will help you find potential allies among the nobility. If there are any corrupt nobles or those who are very loyal to the King, we will take care of them. Conversely, if there are any who are clean and willing to cooperate, we will recruit them to join you.”

Cheonghee paused for a moment, ensuring Amanda absorbed every word she spoke. Then, Cheonghee continued in a colder tone. “Additionally, we will also start looking for ways to eliminate the Heroes loyal to the King. They are the main pillars of this government, and if they fall, the Polons Kingdom will lose its main strength. In short, we will topple this government from the top down to its roots. There will be no place for them to hide.”

Amanda fell silent, her eyes widening at the ambitious plan she was hearing.
