TSSITWON Chapter 98: Miss Senju Clan Member
Added 2024-11-18 12:34:11 +0000 UTCHowever, within Aoki, there was a buried curiosity, and he realized that there was more to uncover in this place. Kurisu's attention to the Senju Clan was clearly more than just coincidence.
"Also, I don't care whether the Senju Clan was truly wiped out by war or hunted down by someone," Aoki said, looking at the woman with a slightly cynical smile. "Isn't that right, Miss Senju Clan Member?"
The woman, who had previously stood calmly, suddenly stepped forward with incredible speed. In an instant, she was in front of Aoki, and with a very swift motion, a sharp kunai was pressed against Aoki's neck, threatening him with death so close.
'Why does this feel like déjà vu?' Aoki thought to himself, smiling wryly in his mind, as if he was already familiar with such a situation.
"How do you know?" the woman's voice was cold, flowing like ice, and her eyes radiated deep hatred.
Aoki looked at her casually, showing no signs of fear. "Well, I saw some corpses of Senju Clan members that... were being sold in the black market," Aoki replied nonchalantly, as if he didn't feel threatened at all.
However, the previously calm atmosphere had now turned very tense. The Senju woman's eyes grew colder, and slowly, a clear intent to kill was visible in her gaze. Aoki could feel it—a real threat.
"Is what you said true?" the woman said, her voice even colder than before, filled with unspoken threats.
Aoki merely smiled faintly, a smile that hinted at a challenge. "Of course," Aoki replied briefly, in a calm tone, as if he knew exactly what would happen next.
The woman pressed her kunai deeper into Aoki's neck, almost drawing blood from his skin. "Tell me where that black market is!" she commanded firmly, her face almost unreadable, but the pressure felt was unmistakable.
Aoki looked at her with unwavering eyes. "Why should I tell you?" Aoki asked casually. "After all, if I tell you, what will I get in return?" Aoki's voice sounded as if he didn't care about the threat at his neck.
The woman gritted her teeth but did not loosen her grip on the kunai. "Your life..." those words came out firmly, full of clear threat.
Aoki laughed, a light laugh, almost mocking. "Haha, you're joking, right?" Aoki said in a surprisingly tone. "Do you think I can be killed so easily?" Aoki took a slight step back, looking into her eyes with increasing intensity. "And one more thing you should know, even if you find out where it is, what will you do? Go there, attack the black market, and then just run away? How naive and foolish is that!"
Aoki's demeanor changed instantly, his eyes sharpened, and the implied intent to kill emanating from his body was very clear. "The black market... what do you think that place is like? Hah!" Aoki leaned in closer, his voice now filled with disdain. "They have various information networks; they are very powerful in the underworld. Do you think you can just go there, create chaos, and then run away? Hah, you really are an idiot!"
With a swift motion, Aoki unleashed Nature Energy from his body, and in an instant, a beam of shimmering energy enveloped the room. The entire place trembled, almost as if there was a small earthquake shaking the walls around them. The killing intent radiating from Aoki was so strong that it felt as if the room itself sensed the threat coming from within him.
Comments
So here's the thing, first, because Aoki mispronounced the name, Aoki didn't expect there to be a member of the Senju Clan there. Second, regarding why Aoki knew there were Senju Clan corpses in the Black Market, it's because Aoki saw it himself while at the market. When Aoki was using Sage Mode, you know that when someone uses Sage Mode, they have a certain tracking ability, right? Just like when Naruto was able to track Nagato, that's why Aoki knew there were Senju Clan corpses in the Black Market.
