F/VoH Ch 121: Ryan's Fatigue
Added 2024-11-12 12:06:35 +0000 UTCThat smile, sincere and full of satisfaction, brought a happiness that was clearly reflected in Charlotte's eyes.
Seeing Charlotte, Ryan couldn't help but smile happily, a grin spreading across his face. Without a second thought, Ryan approached, gently took Charlotte in his arms, and planted an enthusiastic kiss on her lips, expressing all the feelings he had kept inside.
"Congratulations, Charlotte. It seems you've become a real woman." Ellina whispered with a teasing smile, her eyes filled with warmth as she leaned closer to Charlotte's ear.
Charlotte blushed, her face turning red. "Uh... Senior Ellina, you really have no feelings..." said Ellina, awkwardly turning her face away.
"Hehehe..." Ryan smiled faintly, but his expression softened as he leaned in and rested his face gently on Charlotte's chest. The atmosphere felt warm and filled with unspoken intimacy.
Charlotte, with a mischievous smile, teased, "Oh my, Master, do you still want to continue?"
However, Ryan did not respond. The silence lasted only a few seconds, but it was enough for Ellina and Charlotte to exchange uncertain glances. With great tenderness, Ellina lifted Ryan's body, which seemed to be sound asleep, without a word.
"... It seems Young Master Ryan is exhausted." Ellina said with a faint smile, feeling the warmth around them.
Charlotte nodded, smiling lightly. "I think that's true..." replied Charlotte, agreeing, while gazing at Ryan, who was peacefully asleep.

...
...
A boy with a calm face slowly opened his eyes. His black eyes swept around the room with an expression that seemed serene, different from usual. Unlike children his age who tend to be energetic or confused upon waking, this boy appeared to master every beat of his consciousness. Yes, that person was Ryan.
After the effects of the Absorption and Fusion item finally faded, Ryan's feelings returned to normal—calm, quiet, and with a slight chill in the depths of his gaze. Ryan took a deep breath, trying to adjust to the feelings that had felt hazy for so long.
"Young Master? You are awake?" That gentle voice made Ryan slowly turn his head toward its source. There, Ellina was looking at Ryan, her face full of concern and her voice soft, almost like a gentle breeze touching the surface of the water.
"Yes, I am awake." Ryan nodded calmly, his eyes fixed on Ellina for a moment before he looked away.
"Master! How do you feel?" Charlotte asked with an excited yet curious tone. Charlotte's sharp eyes observed Ryan, as if searching for something new or different on his face.
"... Just fine," Ryan replied in a flat, expressionless voice. He looked at Charlotte, who reacted by scratching her own hand, a bit awkwardly.
"Well... that's good, right?" Charlotte asked, her voice sounding uncertain, trying to confirm Ryan's answer.
"Yes," Ryan nodded again. Their conversation felt quiet, yet there was a tranquility in that silence, as if every word they exchanged was a strong foothold between one another.
Ellina then stepped forward a little, her gaze full of concern for Ryan. "Would you like to eat, Young Master Ryan? You haven't had breakfast yet, and it's almost noon now. If you wait any longer, dinner might be the only chance to fill your stomach."
Ryan nodded calmly, agreeing. "Let's eat." He got up from the bed, but before stepping out, Ryan noticed that Ellina and Charlotte remained in place. The two women did not move, instead staring at Ryan with uncertainty.
"Why?" Ryan asked, seeing them not getting off the bed. His eyes hinted at a bit of confusion.
"We... might stay here, Young Master," Ellina replied softly, a little nervous. Ryan's usually calm face now appeared to flush.
