F/VoH Ch 102: Ready to Bear My Child?

Without many words, Ryan shifted his gaze to the ring on his hand, examining it closely as if he were silently conversing with the object.

Ryan took a deep breath, filling his lungs with a new feeling that he had not fully experienced until now. The emotions that had long been suppressed, held back within limits, began to flow freely.

Although Ryan had emotions before, his expressions were always limited to a faint smile or confusion, sometimes surprise, but rarely more than that. Now, Ryan's emotions had truly returned, feeling real and alive. His gaze became warmer, his smile wider, and he felt more whole.

Suddenly, something warm and soft wrapped tightly around Ryan's body. He was startled to find himself in such a tight embrace, full of warmth. Without a moment to prepare, he felt a large, soft, and bouncy chest pressing against him, enveloping him in a sensation that almost made him lose his balance.

Ryan tried to pull away, but the embrace was so tight that he could only move slightly. The warm feeling flowed into him, making him feel momentarily powerless in that strong and comfortable hold.

After a moment, Ryan managed to free himself from the embrace with some difficulty. He was panting, but he smiled wryly as he looked at the woman who had just hugged him.

“Ugh... Oh my God, are you trying to kill a child with a chest like that?” Ryan complained, trying to suppress a sigh of relief amidst the lingering shock. “This would be the most brutal murder in history, you know!”

On the other side, Cheonghee and the other women could only remain silent, looking at Ryan in shock that was hard to hide. They did not expect that the boy who was usually as cold as ice, nearly emotionless, and so indifferent to his surroundings, was now speaking with such feeling. There was happiness in Ryan's voice, and it seemed as if the thick layer that had covered his heart was beginning to melt, making the cold boy appear more human than ever.

“You... What happened to you?” Cheonghee stared at the boy in front of her, confusion clearly reflected on her face. Cheonghee's once calm eyes now looked full of questions, as if she did not recognize the figure before her.

Ryan raised an eyebrow, his expression full of wonder. “What’s wrong? You look like you just saw a ghost. Did you really see something?” Ryan asked jokingly, observing Cheonghee with a confused expression.

Cheonghee shook her head, her eyes still fixed on Ryan, but with a different gaze—mixed with astonishment and joy that was hard to conceal. “No... you look different. Your voice, the way you speak, everything! Your emotions seem more alive! What happened?”

Ryan sighed deeply, then shifted his gaze for a moment before finally looking back at Cheonghee. “Your ability... your ability makes it seem like you’re cursed, right?” Ryan's voice was slightly softer than usual.

“You can’t touch men, because every man you touch will die and turn to ash. You can’t possibly have children or feel love like others do. Just like you can’t touch men, I also... I don’t express emotions,” Ryan nodded slightly while looking at the ground.

“It doesn’t mean I don’t have emotions; it’s just that they are always suppressed. That’s why I said I could help you. The skills you and I have seem to balance each other out. So, you don’t need to worry!” Ryan paused for a moment, then added in a lighter, slightly joking tone.

“Well, now you know everything. So, are you ready to bear my child?” Ryan's smile widened, and his gaze shifted to a more playful one, looking at Cheonghee with a mischievous expression.
