F/VoH Ch 97: Going to a Place

However, Ryan's smile faded as his expression turned serious. The distant rumble in the city seemed to signal hidden danger, and Ryan knew their time was limited.

"Arash," Ryan said softly but firmly, "I need your help now."

"What is it, Master?" Arash asked, curiosity mixed with tension enveloping him. He could sense that something bigger was happening, something more than just a regular mission.

Ryan took a deep breath, "Look for a group of people who are hiding in this city. They are the Rebel Forces. This kingdom has been oppressing the people cruelly, creating hatred and rebellion. I want to help them. But they are currently in danger. There are enemies lurking in the shadows."

Arash listened intently, his face now serious. Ryan looked deeply into his eyes before continuing, "Please look for suspicious individuals who might be part of the rebellion. They are in danger."

"I understand, Master," Arash replied confidently. "If I find them, should I bring them to you?"

Ryan shook his head slowly. "No. Keep an eye on them from a distance. Make sure they are safe for the next few days. I will meet them later, after I finish my business."

"Understood!" Arash patted his chest once more, then bowed respectfully. "Then I will take my leave, Master."

Without waiting for a response, Arash turned and disappeared into the darkness of the night, his footsteps silent amidst the rustling wind. Ryan stood there alone, gazing at the city from the slum area filled with sorrow and hope. In his heart, Ryan knew the path he chose would be fraught with thorns, but this time he was not alone. Arash was the beginning of something greater, and Ryan knew it.

Ryan took a long breath, the cold air enveloping him as he stood in the midst of the abandoned building. Even though Arash had been summoned and Charlotte was by Ryan's side, an uncomfortable feeling still crept into Ryan's mind.

The two Servants, though strong, made Ryan doubt their ability to face the Polons Kingdom, which had trained troops and a General at level ---A. The planned rebellion required something more than combat strength—they needed information, strategy, and hidden alliances.

Ryan thought hard, then made a difficult decision. Without wasting time, he left the abandoned building in the slum, stepping quickly toward a place he had never visited—the Red District.

The district was filled with the alluring glow of red lights, illuminating the bustling streets with men and women chasing worldly pleasures. The atmosphere there felt different, full of life yet tinged with hidden restlessness.

It was a place where many women sold their bodies to survive, to support themselves and their families, but it was also a hub of information that moved faster than anywhere else. For Ryan, this was where he could obtain something valuable—not just physical strength, but the power of information.

At first, Ryan was reluctant to set foot there. However, in order to help the Rebel Forces overthrow the Polons Kingdom, Ryan realized the need for more alliances and spies. And the prostitutes in the Red District, who heard everything from the powerful to street thugs, could be a valuable source of information.

The streets of the district were filled with the thin smiles of women offering themselves, drunken men staggering about, and cheap laughter echoing from dark corners. Ryan walked down the street illuminated by red lights, indifferent to the seductive glances and temptations thrown at him by various beautiful and alluring women.
