F/VoH Ch 96: Arash Kamangir

On the back of the man, a large reddish bow was visible, seemingly enveloped by a deadly aura that was invisible to the ordinary eye. A pair of rugged leather boots completed the man's appearance, simple yet clearly designed for durability in harsh terrain.

The man looked ahead with an expression that seemed both firm and calm, as if he was accustomed to facing even the most difficult situations. He then introduced himself in a deep, confident voice, "I am Arash, the Hero from the East. Nice to meet you!" The tone of his speech carried enthusiasm.

Ryan paused for a moment, his face showing confusion and disbelief. Ryan's mind was racing, trying to process this unexpected reality. Unbeknownst to him, he had summoned Arash Kamangir! One of the most frequently appearing Servants in the game FGO, despite being known for his tragic fate.

For Ryan, Arash was not just an ordinary soldier. As a one-star Servant, Arash might not possess the immense power of other Servants who were four-star and five-star.

However, Arash's uniqueness lay in his Noble Phantasm—Stella—a devastating attack capable of annihilating enemy forces in a single strike. But there was a price to pay for such power. Each time Arash unleashed Stella, his life would be the sacrifice. Death was certain to await Arash.

Ryan looked at Arash with mixed feelings—between admiration and sadness. Although Arash's regular attack capabilities might not be as impressive as those of higher-class Servants, there was something about Arash's character that made him unique and intriguing.

Arash's abilities were quite unique. For Ryan, summoning Arash meant witnessing a hero willing to risk his life for a single deadly strike.

Ryan murmured to himself, “How could I summon a hero with such a heavy fate? Do I deserve this?” However, deep down, Ryan knew that this was not the time for doubt. Arash stood before him, ready to fight and, if necessary, would give his life to continue the battle.

Ryan stood in the dark room, the night wind sweeping across his face, bringing a bone-chilling cold. Around him, the city looked like a jungle, with some places very dark and others very bright. Ryan's hands were clenched tightly, as if bearing the weight of the world on his shoulders, and he murmured, almost like a whisper swallowed by the wind.

“Arash?” Ryan's soft voice was barely audible, but someone in front of him caught the call perfectly.

“Yes, Master!” Arash replied enthusiastically, a cheerful smile lighting up his face. As Ryan's Servant, Arash was always ready to serve him.

Ryan took a deep breath, his eyes fixed on the dark sky in the distance. “Um... Help me, Arash. Help me save this world,” Ryan said softly, but with a weight hanging in every word.

For a moment, silence enveloped them. Arash was taken aback, his gaze focused on Ryan, who seemed to be drifting further away. All this time, Arash had often advised others not to bear burdens alone, but this... this was different.

This was the first time someone had sincerely acknowledged their weaknesses and asked for help without shame. Something in Arash's heart was stirred, a wide smile appeared on his face, not out of obligation, but because of the trust placed in him.

“I will help you as best as I can, Master!” Arash exclaimed passionately, proudly thumping his chest. “Just say the word! I am ready to assist you!”

Ryan turned slightly, showing a rare faint smile. Ryan's eyes, though tired, shone with a glimmer of hope. “Then, please assist me, Arash.”

Arash nodded firmly, “Yes! I will assist you as well, Master!”
