January Update and possibly beyond

Well, I sort of missed December’s update. This will be split into two sections; I’m calling section #1:

Content and stuff you want to hear

First, I am thrilled to announce that… We back, BeanieBelly and myself are coming back at you with The Guild Mate #2. I’ve got the pics, I’ve got the story board, it’s just down to time now. So, expect this to land on Patreon & DA Subs in a week or two and then go free by the end of Jan! I do urge you all to check BeanieBelly out on Curvage, Tumblr and whatever else she creates in the new year. She’s a wonderful creator and the more you support her then the more content she will make, hopefully some more with yours truly.

The Curse, this story has got a good number of chapters left to come out and I will be releasing them roughly two a week with a full short commission from my giveaway’s. That should probably cover most, if not all, of January.

You can expect a story featuring all sorts of expansion and a furry weight gain story too in those two commissions.

Moving into the latter part of the month / Feb, I know Miss Divine Temptation has been away for the Holiday season but the poll that has been up for quite some time has given a solid winner here for audio book content.

1.      Thick as Thieves: No Nut November

2.      Rekindling

3.      Breaking the Silence & The Ex

I am not saying she is going to get to them all but I she has said she will do Thick as Thieves and Rekindling. She has told me that her holiday season away is coming to an end on Monday so you can expect to hear from her this week.

I have got a spiritual successor to Breaking the Silence in the works too, that is chugging along and the commissioner has paid and written up a much longer story here for me to flesh out so while I am still working on that, you should expect that coming up next.

I must apologize as I didn’t follow through on a “Next Story” poll from November, I never forgot it but I just didn’t get time to write it. Right now, I am probably about 40% of the way through it, it won’t be a 10k big one, it is more likely to be a smaller story but nonetheless I hope you enjoy the content. I know the voting was quite fierce and tight, so I didn’t let one topic run away with it, it is going to be more of a mixed bag covering off a few other things.

The Neighbourhood I know I said I wanted to get another version of this out before the new year, this was obviously missed but I am very confident that I will come back to this, I have said that I’ve had the code written for a while and it is just the renders that I need to catch up on, I think I am a bit more of a perfectionist when it comes to renders so that might be my barrier right now, I am hopeful to continue the game this year, no timeline yet but I wanted to let you all know.

Lastly, I am in talks to get a Metabolism continuation / new comic with TinyTenderArtist. Story board drafted but until I clear some of the other bits, you won’t see anything on this front so this might be more February into March.

I think that concludes the content section, there are more things I have in mind to get to but they’re much further down the road. So, with that, onto section #2:

Real stuff that you probably are indifferent to, maybe?

Just wanted to give a bit of a real update with a few other things, this section is purely for everything non content but still related to my content.

Watchers! On the 27th of December I posted that I was overwhelmed that my DA page hit 14k watchers, 8 days later I find my page at 15k. Even as of writing this, I am on 15,450. To see that level of growth outside of one of my stories is incredible. I am in awe at the support that you’ve all shown me but even the nearly 1500 new watchers, who might not have seen my content before. So, whilst I work on the part in the next point, I will be thinking of something to do to celebrate this growth.

That next point is, Gumroad, I don’t know if I have put this into an update post or not but just to clear it off, Gumroad for me is essentially dead. The link still works but the only service there right now is tipping. I have some ideas about what I can use it for in the future but right now I am just looking through what has come off of there, what was in draft, what was released and how can I make sure that people can get it, hence why you’ve seen more content hit my premium downloads on my DA page and some full story releases etc.

Sales, discounts and more. I am very happy that more sites that I use are allowing sales, discounts etc so you can expect them in the future but for those who currently don’t know:

1.      Patreon offers the ability now to discount subs, monthly and Annual.

2.      Deviantart only allows me to take premium downloads and reduce prices.

3.      Amazon allows stories pop on sale or Free reads every 3 months.

Hopefully DA allow for Sales on subs for DA as I would certainly look to offer that as an option for people.

Page growth, I’ve talked about it on the Watcher’s front and my annual views are past 10.5m but I also want to talk about subs, right now for December I am at my highest ever levels on both DA and Patreon. When I first started, I was Patreon only, that was almost cut in half when I opened DA but now Patreon is 20% higher than my peak of Patreon. I only really have one thing I want to say here, I say it often because I mean it but, Thank you so very much.

Last one here, IRL, I don’t share much about my real life, but I just wanted to say that the past 9 months I have been tackling a new job which became increasingly taxing on my time right up until the new year, I am talking ungodly levels of work and stress compared to what I was used to. That being said, I am still happy with my output during that time in terms of content for you all and now I am much freer so I am very excited to get back to things as my real life calms down a bit.

So, during the most stressed and busy I have probably been in my life since starting writing, I survived and thrived, all thanks to you all.

Honestly couldn’t ask for a better set up here. I appreciate it more than you all know.
