Lucy’s politeness in situations is definitely so funny!
I feel like Lucy has been spot on with her shooting, so I could see this but I think the drugs were making her a little too confident and not thinking about any consequences. I agree it’s going to mess with her!
I assumed he was going to use her as like a trade bargaining to begin with but I assumed because they’d grown so close he had changed his plan but guess not! That was a heartbreaking moment for those two!

Lucy surprised and shocked reaction was very relatable for me. In her naiveté she thought the Ghoul would help her to get to her father and in turn she would help him to find his family. It never occured to her that the Ghoul was planning to trade her in for his family from the beginning. Just like the Ghoul with her she had grown to really like and trust him...🤔
Nothing hurts as much as betrayed trust...🙈
Btw., I'm not convinced Barb and Janey are actually in these cryo pods as long as we don't see them lying in there. There must be a reason why they cut away before we got to see Janeys cryo pod...🤔😅

I love how Lucy accentuates how thankful she is at the weirdest times.. like the "Beat me up for 40 caps" guy, she's like "I'm good but thank you SO much!" LMAO
You talked about Lucy killing the ghouls being a turning point for her but I think killing that guy is, because she didn't mean to kill him she probably wanted to shoot him in the ass or the shoulder or something and just it got really real for her when she realized he was dead and then the person asked who are you and she said "I don't know."
I think that's really going to mess with her.
I've seen a couple reactions to this and a lot of people miss that when Ghoul / Cooper says to Lucy "I brought you here to bargain with, and this is the bargain" that was Ghoul/Cooper's entire thing in the first place.
Back when he was going to see someone about saving Lucy, he said to Dogmeat something like "I know, I hate her too but I'm gonna need her as a bargaining chip." or something like that.. Remember? it was right before he went to see the NCR soldiers in the hills the first time.
That's why he was so down and so guilty because he figured that he was going to have to use her to get his family back at some point in the end, and by then he'd really grown to like her.
