Please feel free to suggest other options in the comments for future polls!

The 2019 adaptation of Little Women isn't even the 6th-best adaptation of the at least 7 major motion picture adaptations, of which there is at least a record of since 1917, and of which copies of the first TWO, both 1917 and 1918, do not EXIST and can't even be VIEWED anymore. Pretty much the ONLY thing adapted from Tom Wolfe's EXTENSIVELY researched The Right Stuff by the 1983 film version is THE TITLE. I haven't actually watched the 2025 adaptation of Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, but what I have seen of it is John Carpenter slasher horror movie style CRAP, which is why I have no interest in wasting my time watching it or anyone's "reaction". If I hadn't been so preoccupied over the last 3 weeks trying to find a new home for myself and trying to find a new home for my emotional support companion of three years, that age-related circumstances are forcing me to give up, I'd have recommended from what's left on your list: #! Dr Zhivago - the only other movies that I can immediately recall having seen the heavenly beautiful Miss Julie Christie appear in are the 1974 adaptation of Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express (IMHO Sir Kenneth Branagh should stick to the only thing he really good at, Shakeseare) and the David Heyman/Alfonso Cuarón film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. #2 Breakfast at Tiffany's - After Stanley Donen's Charade (1963 often referred to as the best Hitchcock movie Hitchcock didn't actually make), ths is my second favorite Audrey Hepburn movie featuring Miss Hepburn singing the Henry Mancini Academy Award-winning Best Song Moon River, only to be ignominiously and disrespectfully insulted, and frankly DEFAMED, 3 years later by having ALL of her vocals OVERDUBBED for My Fair Lady. If there is, or has ever been, any doubt as to what an enormous ASS Jack L Warner was, nothing in his career illustrates it more than his PERSONAL decision to axe Julie Andrews from consideration to reprise in a film adaptation her Tony-winning role she originated on Broadway for the "established" film star Audrey Hepburn only to turn around then and PERSONALLY demand the VANDALIZATION of her musical performance by covering up her vocals with someone else's voice. When all was said and done, the ONLY good thing to come out of the Audrey Hepburn/Eliza Doolittle film debacle was Miss Julie Andrews being available to accept the consolation prize of appearing instead in the title role of Walt Disney's last truly magnificent film adaptation, which BTW is NOT on this list, before his untimely death 2 years later. #3 All About Eve - my favorite Bette Davis movie, with a house party scene in which the entire main cast is gathered on and around the stairway, and everyone in the scene is entirely outclassed, outshown and outperformed as actors by the performances of Miss Bette Davis, as she always did, and a very young and still new to film audiences actress, almost entirely in the background, with only a single line of dialogue (her second of only two in the entire Act and motion picture) Miss Marilyn Monroe. Whenever Bette Davis is on screen, everyone else in the scene fades out, but in this particular scene of this film, Marilyn Monroe, even as a background bit player, still irradiates the part of the scene around her.

I was hoping that The Right Stuff would be in the lead, but that’s okay. Lots of good stuff here, and hopefully someday it will win a monthly drawing, along with Papillon and Wonderboys.

All the greats in this poll and Pet Semetary and The Firm are winning lol. Both good movies but man

Roy Wright

It's kind of shocking how little pull this movie seems to have with people. It's great. The Ocean's trilogy is so well-liked and yet this earlier collaboration between Clooney and Soderbergh gets no love. What a shame.

Tyler Foster

Great category, and it’s loaded. I would be happy with about half of them.

David Wilkins

Pet Semetary gets my vote

Mike the Ginger

It probably won't win, but keep this years Frankenstein in mind, maybe you can get to it sometime next year, it's definitely Oscar worthy in my humblest of opinion lol modern day masterpiece!

dieselbeast

Wow this is a tough one. Almost too many choices and all good

Smooticus

Both my picks as well. Great performances and movies!

Eric

It's not out of the realm of possibility (in fact it seems likely at this early stage) we could get a Gene Hackman twofer with Mississippi Burning and The Firm. I wouldn't be mad about it. ☺️

Paul Cox

Out of Sight!!!!!!!!! This is one that you two will enjoy so much. Such a slick thriller and so many great actors and performances. Tense, clever, great characters and funny as well
