2025-09-23 11:51:11 +0000 UTCThe ultimate Gregory Peck role for me is General Savage in Twelve O'clock High (1947). Just two years after WW2 ended, it portrays a brilliant portrait of leadership, sacrifice, and trauma. Not a "combat" film per se, just about the men, how they react, and what they must endure. That said, great job on this one. I am teaching a class on character to military cadets next summer, and TKAM was on my list to consider showing. Watching it with you has convinced me to use it. So thanks!
